One of the best shows on TV. I'm a big Danny fan, but I wouldn't kick Martin out of bed either. And I hate Sam.

I was a bit distracted last night, between all the wine I was drinking and the Jesus thread...but was that D.B. Sweeny as the undercover cop?!

This show looks really good, but I've only watched one episode. I dunno if ET was doing a little overhyping, but they say a lot of the ratings are due to the popularity of Eric Close amongst female viewers. Is he really that popular?

I do believe it was D.B. Sweeney playing the undercover cop. I recall seeing him in one of the previews last week.

The undercover cop was played by Lochlyn Munro, also known as Cliff from Dead Man on Campus, and for bringing the crazy to Tori Spelling in Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?. He also played someone on Charmed, although I've never watched the show, so I have no idea who.

So anyway, on topic - how did the track down Lance at the end? He seemed to pop up out of nowhere.

The Martin/Sam relationship is starting to bug me now. Lately it's all annoying should we/we shouldn't tell everyone relationship crap without any steamy scenes!

I just saw the episode last night where Danny was looking for his brother. Good Lord, I love Danny. He's just so freaking cute.
This past season was pretty weak. Still a spectacular show, but still weak. I just didn't care about Jack's personal problems THAT much and the Martin-Sam thing, well....
I think I have the most unpopular opinion on TWOP and other such websites because I don't like Martin and Sam as a couple. Oh, they're really pretty together, but really pretty does not a good couple make. Martin seems to be a decent guy, but Sam seems insecure and bitchy. The whole "Oh, we can't tell anyone in the office about our relationship because it'll make me the office slut" thing smelled of contrivance. And Sam is a grown woman. Why should she care what other people think about her relationship with Martin? Especially if she claims that he makes her really really happy. Whatev. (plus, I don't think Poppy Montgomery is much of an actress)
Hopefully this season they'll slide away from the almost soap opera-y-ness they were heading towards. No more life threatening heart disease, no more chemistry free relationships, and for the love of all that is holy, no more John Michaels.
And to add to the shallowness, Martin and Danny are soooo pretty.

Anyone still watching this? If so, do you like the new woman? She's pretty but she seems to talk through clenched teeth and, frankly, her character really irritates me.

And I can't make up my mind on the whole Martin/drug addiction thing. I usually like backstories and behind-the-scenes stuff on characters but this particular plotline? <shrug> At least it's better than the endless Samantha love plots. (I'm not a huge Samantha fan. Frankly, she bores *and* irritates me, all at the same time.)

Danny's still my favorite. And I'm always impressed by Marianne Jean-Baptise (Vivian).

This little story line is boring and bland (hey, like Martin!). It's also written very much like a paint-by-numbers piece. So no, I don't find it compelling in the least.

To be fair, though, I only watch this show for the hotness that is Danny. Well, that and I do like Vivian.

Yeah, I'm still watching it. If I remember it's on and it doesn't bore me to death.
I HATE the Martin drug storyline. It's just so bizarre and out of character for him.

I don't really like the new girl. She's just added on and the cast is already getting less and less time for some girl who I can barely understand. And she adds nothing. I can guarantee that she and Danny are going to end up in the sack real soon.

I still love Danny. He's my favorite too. Enrique just has so much potential for great stories as an actor but he's just not being used as much as he could.

I'm beginning to give up on this show becoming the great show it was in the first and second season. But that's okay, I lose interest in TV shows around the fourth season anyway.
So they can do whatever they want and have everyone sleep with each other, for all I care. Because after this season, I'm done.
