No, Tamara, she survived and is pregnant which Jack's baby, which is way too soap-opera for my taste. On the plus side, it hopefully puts the kibosh on any more Jack-Sam rekindling.

Get that woman off the show. I'm all for older women on t.v., etc, etc, but this woman truly bugs. She's ruined the show for me.

Dear Without a Trace; Your season finale sucked. No one really cares if Brandon Walsh* would have killed Jack's girlfriend. --snip-- Or you could have gotten rid of Elena and no one would have noticed. Hilarious. Especially the part about MumbleMouth. I have a question about the episode before the finale. Which one of the children do you think died? Given the theme of the institutional racism, it would have to be the black boy whose case was essentially neglected. However, MumbleMouth was the one who opened the car trunk and discovered the body, and she was on the case of the white girl. They wouldn't have suddenly transferred her to the other case, so it had to be the white girl, no?

What a stupid episode. Nobody cares if Anne dies. I was disappointed when they found her alive. Also, I thought the part where she said she was pregnant was just a ploy to get Jason Preistley not to shoot her.
Does Samantha do anything these days other than speak three lines an episode? What's the point of her even being there anymore? Elena has really taken her place, it seems.

In regards to your question about the episode before the finale, I do believe that it was the white girl who died too. Because Mumbles was on her case and well, it made sense to me. My other question about the season finale which I'm sure lots of people asked was when Brandon Walsh was going to shoot Maid Marian (which is the only role I remember what's-her-name for), why would he stop just because she's pregnant? It makes no sense. He killed at least four other people. I'm thinking the preggers thing wouldn't make a difference. Note to self - If someone is threatening to kill me, tell them I'm pregnant. Maybe that'll stop them. (good thing I'm a girl)

It seems odd, but criminals have their own set of values. We all hear of prisoners having a "code" to take care of imprisoned pedophiles. See, they might be in prison for killing someone, but harming a kid is crossing the line (even if they might have murdered that same kid's father - just sayin' how ridiculous it is.) If that makes any sense.
Or criminals who will kill men, but not women and children. So, killing a pregnant woman is crossing the line for Priestley's character.
speciousreasoning, I always think of her as Maid Marian, too!

Yeh I think that killing a pregnant woman was, even for him, crossing some sort of line. Particularly because you get the feeling that before that rampage he was trying to change. His comment about "nobody really changes - they just forget who they are" sort of made me think he disgusted with himself. I actually thought he did a good job with the part.

I just watched the back-to-back repeats of "Fallout" (the hostages in the bookstore and the guy who lost his wife in the WTC), and I have to say that I am quite surprised by how much I like this show. I originally started watching an episode here or there because ER sucks, and I wasn't really into it. But surprise -- it's actually a really good show. In fact, I actually said that aloud when it was over: "That was really good."
That's saying something, too, when I am routinely annoyed by 4/6 of the cast.
Edited days later because wooboy, did I just watch a dud of an episode. Bad writing, bad acting, bad everything. It was "The Bogie Man" with the guy who plays Jim Halpert on The Office. So bad.

According to the Entertainment Weekly I just got, "We're doing a story about a missing stripper. Roselyn Sanchez's Elena will go undercover in the strip club." (according to showrunner, Jan Nash) "We're pumping up those personal stories a little bit." (showrunner Greg Walker)
Um, people, that's why I won't be watching this season. I don't give a tiny rat's behind about "pumped up personal stories" and always thought the personal stories for WAT were a bit weakly written (and acted, in some cases). And strip club? Okay, not EVERY story WAT does has to be about sex - wow I kind of sound like an old lady tonight.
Between these little tidbits, Jack's "romance" with Maid Marian, and the move to Sunday night, things aren't looking too perky for this ol' show.
Ah, Sleepy, you aren't the only one annoyed by the majority of the cast. In fact, 4/6 sounds about right to me too - with Danny and Viv being the only ones who don't annoy me completely. Martin comes in as 75% not annoying and 25% annoying - that stupid "addiction" storyline sent him over the edge of 25% annoying. As for the rest of them? Annoying as all hell.

You got it -- precisely the ones I had in mind for "not annoying."
