I liked the Oprah Legend's Ball sketch, especially the TomKat appearance where she was billed as "Katie Cruise-Hubbard".

Shoot. I shut it off about halfway through that sketch because it seemed bad and getting worse.
Why. The. Fuck. do they let Horatio do that awful Carrol thing? Lorne, please accept that he's not Farley.

Heh. I saw the monologue back in the day. I was so young and I was completely shocked. The only thing I really remember is Lawrence talking about going down on a woman with a yeast infection and coming up with a mouth full of dough. Aiieeee!

Lorne, please accept that he's not Farley. That was the only Falconer sketch I've ever found funny but sleep deprivation probably had a lot to do with it. And Horatio has to go. He's been on the show since 1998! Good grief! Eight years and he's barely ever been funny! And he's the worst line reader on the show. Hardly a show goes by that he doesn't mess up his lines. I'd heard that Lorne Michaels hates people that start laughing during sketches but for some reason he's put up with that unprofessional man-boob. Keenan Thompson deserves all of Sanz's airtime. "Wasting away again in Not-Iraq" cracked me up.

I'm curious about what people thought of Nelly Furtado's performance. I thought she was terrible and trying way too hard to be hot and sexy.

I've loved Kenan ever since his All That days, and even back then (when he was only 16 years old) he was funnier than Sanz. And why in holy hell did that stupid Carol character get to be a recurring sketch? It wasn't funny the first time, the second time, or the third time. He's been sucking for eight long torturous years. When will it end Lorne, WHEN WILL IT END?!?!

Oh no, Jensational, I love the Two A-Holes! I don't usually watch the entire show anymore, but Mr. Sunnyhorse records "SNL" and always pauses it and yells for me to come watch when they show up. (Is it my imagination, or does "Babe" announce that someone "looks like a rabbit" in every A-Holes sketch?) Once it's over, we spend the rest of the day talking like them and pretending to chomp enormous wads of gum.
I really like Nelly Furtado, but I wasn't too impressed with her performance on Saturday.

I'm glad someone else feels the A-holes love. I think my favorite sketch is the one where they go to the travel agent and the female a-hole is like "I wanna go there . . ." and points at a poster. The camera pans out and the travel agent (Matt Dillon) says "That's a photo of a plane" and the guy is like "Yeah, can we go there. Is that good this season?"
Heh.
Nelly really wasn't very good. I really liked her "I'm like a bird" and "turn out the lights" stuff. This wasn't good.

I didn't have the volume turned up (was on the phone) but wtf was she wearing!? It was a lacy black bra-thingy, but the straps were gold? I dunno, it was horrendous. She was trying WAY too hard to be sexy.

I thought she was gross, too. I also found it funny that it looked like she had to work really really hard to actually sing during the chorus.
