L&O kind of appears when the networks want it to out my way. Can never figure out when CTV or the US network will air it. Friday? Tuesday? wait for it... Sunday this week....

Well, I'm depressed after watching the season finale. I understand the need to have a cliffhanger for next season, but is it necessary that every single person is miserable? God.
I'm one of the few people who still watch and enjoy this show, but I really think they could've left us with a little hope. Or a will to live.

I watched this in a dream-like state (exhaustion, cold meds) and woke up this morning completely traumatized. Why did they have to do Ray like that, dude! ER is a bunch of sadists. And then Neela may or may not get run over? Actuallyher scene was pretty laughable but again--don't screw with Benadryl. I wonder what would happen if they just threw in a super-happy, upbeat character into the mix... Oh wait, they wouldn't. ER writers get the gasface.

i thought Ray's hospital seemed kind of dream like, it was so clean and bright. It reminded me of when they're trying to film a visit with God or something.

I spent most of Ray's scenes (one I got over the shock of him not having any legs) trying to figure out who in the hell that other girl with him was. What an awful way to leave the show.

After the truck hitting I *had* to read up on spoilers to see what happened, and now finally I've watched the finale I taped a couple of weeks ago. Seriously, for a show that I've barely hung on watching the past season, that Ray storyline has stayed with me. I'll be in a perfectly fine mood and get sideswiped with "But they ran Ray over. He has no legs! But surely Neela will still love him ...goddamn it, you take five seconds and you say I love you and then no one ends up with NO LEGS!"
They finally gave me Ray-Neela hope (I can't help it, I'm a sucker for friends who fall for each other and I thought they contrasted nicely with each other) and then ... NO LEGS.
Bah. And I'm annoyed that I have no more closure after watching the episode at last. I'll still keep waking up and getting distracted from happy times with legless gloom. Or actually have sterile, silent hospital nightmares.

I quit watching around 2 seasons ago when Susan's exit was a tossed-off one liner.
So far the new season's been pretty good and back to basics.
But what I really wanted to say was that I was so happy that Abby got a happy ending. She and Luka moved to Boston for better positions. I was waiting for the car crash or the phone call or something to happen to her. But nope! She's alive and well and living in Boston.

I guess I'm happy Abby got a happy ending too.
I'm in the HUGE minority but no matter how hard I tried I just never quite warmed to the Abby character. Something about her just bugs the hell out of me. She just always looked so....sour. Never could figure out what the hell Luka and Carter saw in her.

I'm gonna miss Abby, she had the best one-liners and was so entertaining to watch. I'm so glad her and Luka actually got a happy send-off and I'm really happy they went to Boston. I bet they wrote it that way because Maura Tierney's from Boston herself.
That wall of old doctor's name tags was pretty cool. I love that they had Dr. Dave's on there, I'm still annoyed that they wrote him off so quickly.

I skipped the episode but damn, I'm glad to hear Abby's send-off was anti-Abby: happy, hopeful.
