I thought she did get choked up and teary eyed. After Babs lunged across the table and jumped down her throat. (Trying to keep her from speaking out of her ass some more.)
Just after that, Joy quoted the 14 year old girl as saying she had 2 options in her town. She could die of a drug induced accident or overdose, or get knocked up. And one of the shrews tossed in the fact that the father was on the same mental level as the girl. I guess Bitsy felt that her mother should have set aside a portion of her disability check, to pay for her daughter's funeral, instead of becoming a grandmother. Personally, I felt the girl could not have been knocked-up by a better guy. Do I think it's a healthy relationship? Most likely not.
None of that compares to today. Between Bitsy's polical/moral shit and Star's "And you all thought I couldn't sit here and be nice" crap, I was disgusted. Very entertaining show though. I can't wait to see where these idiots end up. Martha is drawing my attention more and more.

I obviously picked the wrong day to miss the show. I can't belive Bits went on that little tirade today, especially since BW gave her the ultimate smackdown yesterday. She's out of control.

When I saw Larry King today, I couldn't help but think that his suspenders were probably holding up his scrotum.

2 things about the interview with Stuart Townsend today. 1) is Meredith Viera homophobic or just in junior high school? Could she have been anymore juvenile about the "gayity school of acting". Jeez it's like listening to Beavis and Butthead talk about "heheheh hhehhhhheh heheheh, she said gayyyyyyy"
2) as they wrapped up that interview, did I hear/see Mr. Townsend look at Joy and say "I liked you on Maher"?

Marrying her gives him no legitimacy, period. That a rapist marries his victim doesn't excuse the crime, and this was a crime, pure and simple. He's not a "man about it" because he's a full-grown adult who had sex with a child. Whatever gloss they want to put on it afterward doesn't excuse it. He raped a child and she got pregnant. That he then married that child (another illegal act) doesn't show any responsibility, taste, etc. He should be in jail and/or intensive therapy.

Uhm, and back on The View....
Oooo can we have Sarah Ferguson all the time, INSTEAD of Zilla/Bitsy? Actually if they replaced Bitsy with Sarah, then Star wouldn't speak as much. I can't imagine Star shouting over a duchess. Most fun would be to watch the huge butt kissing fest it would be.

If the guy was a respectable man, he would've left that little girl ALONE. Taking responsiblity for a baby he created by rape? What a man.

I never did get to catch the 20/20 special about that whole thing that's now getting brought up again.
There could've been a lot more to the situation than they discussed in the few minutes they had to talk about it. That's one thing that kind of bugs me about Hot Topics, as much as I like to watch the show--it seems that they hear two sentences about a topic and all the sudden they have a strong opinion about it. It's one thing when they discuss things in the news that we've all heard of, but I think it's another when they pull up totally obscure news items from middle America and all of the sudden are ready to throw someone in jail when they barely even know the story at all.

What the FUCK? Anyone watching? Okay, was it just me, or where those costumes really awkward and uncomfortable looking? The cupcake used a laundry basket as a frame-I hope they pad the plastic edges, otherwise, it'll cut your kid up. The balloons would be nothing but static, the penguin had to WADDLE everywhere, and garbage bags are hot (they made us wear them my freshman year during Spirit Week).
I did like Bitsy's costume for Grace. That was cute, actually.
(I almost died when they said "watch out for the witch." Too bad it was Joy standing there, rather than Zilla.)
