The 4400

I'm addicted to this show. From the Evil Baby, to the freaky (but sometimes cool) abilities showcased each week, it's definitely one of my "must watch" shows.

Anyone else a big fan? What do you think is going to happen with the Devil Child?

When i first watched this show, I belive the episode with the 4400 centre and all the people joining and getting in touch with the 4400 within, seemed like a scientology dig to me. But when i catch the show i admit i do like it, the girl who plays Maya is suprisingly not annoying like most other children in TV shows nowadays

Doesn't anyone else watch the 4400? I admit to watching it sporadically this year because it shared the same time slot with 6 feet under, but I did get the first several episodes and the season ending, last night.

Who else can't wait to see psycho baby as an adult?

I love this show!! I'm just mad that I have to wait another year (YEAR!) before I see Isabelle get all crazy. How cool would it be if Isabelle was evil? I am gonns buy both seasons on DVD and pray that the USA channel doesn't cancel it. I say this because all the shows I love get cancelled.

The show has improved during the season. They were getting into this weird grind where they were doing a person a week. They've gone off it a bit to the benefit of the show, which now seems more organic and less formulaic. The current cult leader, the healy guy? He's a really good actor.

And the 'healy' guy (can't remember his name either snacktastic) is darn hot as well. I was intrigued that the final season showed that the original cult leader wasn't dead but on a desert island. Not only does it bode well for the 'killer' to go free it also leads me to believe Isabelle may not be evil. I'm just super excited about next season. does anyone know if we'll have to wait until next summer or if it will be a shorter cycle?

Bump because the series will begin again soon and I'm SO excited! This show is seriously one of my favorite things to watch, so much so that I've inveigled MrPancake into watching the earlier episodes in preparation for the season premiere! Heee.

It returns Sunday, June 11 at 9/8C with a two-hour episode which picks up mere seconds after baby Isabelle became a beautiful 20-year-old woman. Her father, Richard, must deal with her sudden transformation, and an even more surprising change in Lily. Meanwhile, Tom and Diana pursue a radical 4400 organization called the Nova Group that may also have ties to Shawn and The 4400 Center.

Anyone else a fan?

The season opening is on my birthday and I'm so excited because it feels like the universe is giving me a birthday gift.

Kafka, I can't wait to find out what happens to Lilly and if evil baby turned hot woman has an explanation for her seeming evilness or if it was all part of the grand plan.

I agree. BTW, what do you think is the deal with Jordan Collier? I they've brought him (or the character) back to life (Spoilered in case some people, like MrPancake, haven't caught up with all the prior episodes)

On a side note, I was very amused by the Wikipedia entry for the show because it references Scientology & the Clams' Celeb Center. Months ago, Limey said something very similar. Here is the Wikipedia comment:

The 4400 Center run by Jordan Collier seems intended to resemble the real-world Church of Scientology [citation needed]. The 4400 Center promises supernatural abilities to those who follow its training through for-pay courses, much as the Church of Scientology promises, though Scientology is not as forthcoming about its promises of supernatural powers. At least one 4400 Center attendee has had his psychological medication confiscated, much as the Church of Scientology is opposed to psychology and its medications. The 4400 Center includes technological devices strapped onto its members during courses, similar to Scientology's E-Meters. Heh. Love the dig, not to mention the irony of the whole alien issue.... Wikipedia had some other interesting stuff too, like the references to Judeo-Christian texts, how Collier's intials are like those of Jesus, stuff about Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. Read more here
