I can't remember the exact details but there was something hanky about how his actual corpse. It went missing or something. Kafka, do you remember? Shawna, all I remember is what Heavenleigh2001 has already noted. The body disappeared. I'm ashamed to admit I don't recall any explanation given for the vanished body. They may well have given one but I don't remember it. Regarding Collier's supposed death, some people have speculated that he's in hiding but why? What would be the benefit? Other than escaping any more death rays from Evil Baby Spawn that is. Having time to heal? Or would that be impossible given the damage she's done? BTW, I really hope they're not setting up adult Isabel as the future love interest for Shawn. But I have the feeling it might head that way. One thing which really intrigues me is that Dr. chap (the "Father of the 4400 technology") injecting himself with the neurotransmitter/gene stuff that helps abilities form. It's going to be interesting to see how that affects their abilities to understand both the 4400s' powers, and the original alien group's goal in sending them back. BTW, I read some cool spoilers for the upcoming season. If anyone's interested (and not hugely anti-spoiler), let me know and I'll post the link.

Thank you Heavenleigh2001, I couldn't remember what had happened.
Kafka, I love spoilers, please post the link. Regarding Collier's death, the teaser of him alive didn't make him look like he'd been hiding out, rather it looked like he'd been stranded. I had the vague impression (and I can't remember why now) that Isabelle had beamed him somewhere remote to get him out of the picture for a while.

Kafka, I love spoilers, please post the link. Your wish is my command, sweetie: Some small Season 3 hints/spoilers He had very long hair, kinda like Tom Hanks in Castaway, so yes, he could have been stranded but he could also have looked that way because he was hiding from Isabelle. That said, I really *really* like your theory about his disappearance. The issue would then be: why did Isabelle want to save him? Just to get Shawn into the leadership role? Would that really be so good with that creepy advisor/lawyer chap also being around? Why not get rid of him too if she wanted unfettered access to Shawn for the time when she'd grown up and planned to seduce him. (And seduction is easily one interpretation of that very last shot from the end of the season, where her naked body is entering his study.)

I have that feeling too, I am sure there will be some storyline about how they are "destined to be" and Isabel will be trying to get with Shawn the whole season. As for Collier, I am in the camp that thinks either Isobel moved his body or the future humans who took him in the first place.

I think so too, no matter what the Spoiler suggested. This show is big into thematic duality and I could easily see them setting up the "4400's possible Anti-Christ" (as Isabelle was called in one article) with the Healer. Yet, since Shawn has shown that he can be a Giver of Death, as well as life, the duality and juxtaposition is also a parallel unity. Not sure if any of that makes sense. I'm not too coherent these days for various reasons.

Here[/color] is some episode summeries for this season. You may have to click on The 4400 to see them. Is a bit spoilery. Spoilery speculation: I have a feeling that Lily bites it in the first episode. From the reports that she is rapidly aging and the synopsious says Shawn can't cure her leads me to believe that she is the death no one expected. But I can see why they would do it, Lily as Isabelle's mother can provide her with moral guidance and how to and not to use her powers. Without that mother figure Isabelle can be left to her own devices since she really doesn't have a close relationship with Richard, or the same sort of connection.

I thought that Collier was not supposed to die and that the folks from the future snapped him out of the coffin, reanimated him, and sent his scurrying back to the past to do more pontificating and trying to rule the world kind of things (wonder if that's something you can put on a resume). And whatever happened to him causing that coup and taking over the island nation off the coast of Africa for the 4400s? Did the NTAC stop that?
I think that Isabelle is scary. She hurt her dad when she got mad at him, she killed the creepy rednecks who were chasing them, and she lied to Collier. That last bit isn't inherently bad as he's creepy, too, but the fact that she lied has me putting a check in the evil column on her.

Limey -- Ooo Ooo Ooo. I love your speculation and while I like Lilly, that is a fascinating set-up. I can't wait for Sunday.

I read a side that has Shawn attempting to kill Isabelle in their bed, and her waking up, announcing that he cant hurt her and she guesses this means he'll be marrying her after all. Which is creepy as hell.

In honour of tonight's season premiere (YAYYYYYYY!!!!!), here's a personality quiz which will tell you which 4400 paranormal power would you be granted if sent back from the future. Me? I'm apparently Shawn. Or, to be more specific, a Healer with the instinct to help others. As for tonight's show, I think Limey's speculation is dead on. And if it doesn't happen in the very first episode, it will soon. I think that having Isabelle in the womb weakened Lily. Almost as if Isabelle drained her mother of her energy. Isabelle has so many powers that she probably needed twice as much in the womb as a normal baby, almost as though she fed off her mother's life force. So yeah, Lily's gonna be a dead duck. . BTW, Happy Birthday Shawna!
