I didn't realize how much I loved Jordan until he was gone for most the season. I literally squealed and bounced with glee when he showed up at the end of the episode last week. It's finally getting interesting.
And speaking of long-lost once regulars returning: does anyone besides me not care that Kyle is back?

God, everyone, but EVERYONE, looked like a million bucks! They all were gorgeous, even more so than usual....Alana, Kyle (yowza), Isabelle, Jordan Collier, Maia, Tom, Diana, Nina, etc...give the show's stylists, hair and make-up people a raise, y'all.
Loved Jordan Collier coming back and laying the smackdown on Isabelle. Honestly, Billy Campbell is such a good actor that he elevated the actress playing Isabelle in their scene together. And I don't think he's a good guy, btw....he seemed dangerous near the end there, especially when he dismissed Isabelle's struggle to retain her humanity. Not something a messiah would do, don't you think?

OMG! That ending totally blew me away. I can't wait to see what happens next season. I don't even want to spoiler the ending, for those who haven't seen it yet, but it is one awesome ending I can't wait to see how this show develops next season.
Did anyone else notice the horrible editing where Isabelle's dress was torn and her hair looked like a nest and in the next shot her hair was back to normal and she didn't look so tore up?

Sorry for the double post but it's been at least 12 hours and I can't believe that no one else watched the season ender. Doesn't anyone want to talk about <spolier> Jordan being on the run, Isabelle losing her 4400 powers, the center being blown up, Diana leaving town with Maya and her new husband, Tom's wife being told she wouldn't be there when Maya returned with her mom and dad in six months time or more importantly that my younger man, Sean, is in a coma? No one? <spoiler>

I think my favorite part was when Sean finally grew a pair and told off Isabelle "Take you hands off me...baby." That was excellent.

That was one AWESOME season finale! I have to agree with Roisin54 about Sean's "Baby" line to Isabelle. I also enjoyed the look of shocked horror on Ryland's face when he admits that he's lost control of Isabelle. Heh, serves him right.
There are so many things I didn't expect at all. From the Isabelle-Promicin (sp.?) being potentially deadly to the rest of it, particularly Isabelle losing her powers, not her life. That was probably the greatest twist and I didn't see it coming at all. It's going to be interesting to see how she accepts life as a totally normal girl, not one with 4400 abilities, let alone super 4400 abilities. Goodbye smug superiority, terrorizing and arrogance, hello confusion and powerlessness. And since the show often does things with mirror parallels, it's not to hard to guess that Diana's sister is going to get 4400 abilities of her own.
I liked how they finally brought many of the divergent themes together for the final. And I love Jordan Collier's character. The Messiah and Jesus, only with a terrorist group at his beck and call.
BTW, USA has renewed The 4400 for yet another season. Not surprising in light of their ratings this summer.

What is really interesting about the storyline is that when you look at Jesus as a historical figure and place him within context, Jesus would have been considered a terrorist as well. I really love the writing on this show.

Did anyone watch the season opener? I love this show! YES! Thank goodness someone else is watching. I used to hate Kyle but am liking him more now. I feel bad that Alana is now in a painting, that's not going to keep Tom warm at night. I like the new NTAC woman. So what's with the big escape at the end of this episode? Is this supposed to be good or bad? And WTF do they mean about Kyle being a shaman? So what exactly IS Kyle's ability, I don't get it? Otherwise, love it.

The ongoing storylines confuse me a little too, mostly because I hardly remember what happened last season. I'm liking how there's now a story of the week that's easy enough to follow to make up for any other confusion.
