I hear you, because I feel the same way! But I don't think she's in any danger of that - after all, she was still drunk and hungover as of the "Scar" episode. The only thing that worries me is this kid stuff. Remember what they did to Dana Scully? Urgh.

In protest for not having Space/ Sci-Fi and getting Season 3, I shall be watching my Original BSG boxed set instead. The Cylon head on the box is creepy as all hell! *hides under bed, shivering*

I finally got caught up on the end of the second season a few hours before season 3 started. I really enjoyed it! The scene in the beginning where Starbuck kills that Cylon dude then eats her dinner was totally awesome. Passacaglia is my favorite song on the soundtrack, and it was an amazing fit with that scene.

And of course, who can forget the comedy gold that is FatLee? The towel scene! Adama telling him to get his fat ass out of his office! Him bitching about it while eating! It's all hilarious!

(Also, Gaeta? Kiiinda hot in this episode.)

Let me just say that to adequately express everything which the season premiere held for its viewers would take many many pages of fanboy blather. Suffice to say that this fanboy was absolutely blown away by the story, the allegories, the moral murkiness, the acting, the action and where this series is taking us. Holy crap, what an awesome pair of episodes.

Just the discussion of suicide bombing alone held so much resonance, not to mention the discussion of election-stealing. Best. Show. On television.

I agree bstewart. I've come to this thread a few times but there's just too much I love about this series. To try and go into detail about everything that was incredible about the series opener wouldn't do it justice.

I just love what this show has to say about society, humanity and the universe in general.

Also, I agree about Gaeta. Such. A. Hottie.

barrie, someone at Space actually got their shit together and BSG is being shown in Canada, albeit a day later, on Saturday nights at 9 (ET). Or you could join the over twenty-three thousand (that I saw, at any given time) technogeeks who were doing something very bad all day yesterday with their computers.

I just watched the season 3 premiere. Wow, I know some men let themselves go after marriage but Lee has taken it to the extreme. Starbuck killing the guy and eating her dinner, great but she is very over the edge right now. Anders is hot as ever and Helo has gotten better looking.

I was a fan of the first and wanted to watch this but missed the first season. I keep meaning to pick it up as everyone tells me it's great. Is it out on DVD?

Starbuck was the buddy, the best pal, Frat Boys in Space, which is probably why the female casting seemed so odd to some.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm still drunk from the shots I had to slam to get over my grief at the hideous bizarro world towel scene.

The episodes were amazing. I tried to go to sleep right after wards, and just ended up in bed, staring at my ceiling wishing I could vote for Rosalin in '08.
