Wasn't that a good episode? ... I really dislike Vorenus at this point. I used to think he was such a noble sort. But he's just too heartless. The scene with the serving girl garnered him my hate. Just let the poor girl leave with a shred of dignity, you beast! Yeah, this was a good episode...lots of plot advancement and really nice scenes. I interpreted Vorenus insisting that she take the money as some kind of sign that he's still guilt-ridden about Niobe. Maybe he's not ready to have another relationship, but purchased sex is an emotionless transaction so that's all he needed it to be.

Seeing it on a gigantic TV certainly helped but seeing Atia on the horse, all fur-clad and bad-ass, was one of the most awesome things I've seen on TV in a long while - she was just so awesome, "yeah, I'm the shit...give me an Emmy or I will CUT YOU!."
Antony's beard looked really fake.

Naturally, Atia on horseback is the one scene I missed. I suck.

So thanks to the magic of YouTube, I finally saw the first episode. Why can't I have HBO? Why can't itunes have episodes? Grr. Sooooooo good. Le sigh, I have to wait for the darn DVD. Curses!
I loved the tenderness Pullo showed Vorenus after Vorenus fell apart, how Posca and Calpurnia seemed to be the only ones truly mourning Caesar, how, as usual, Octavian is 20 steps ahead of everyone else but still is underrated, and how Antony manipulated Brutus et al. Such a great episode.

Seriously, how freaking sexy was Atia on that horse? I would totally go gay for her lol. And Antony's reaction? That kiss? Hot as hot can be.

Antony's beard looked really fake. It reminded me of that scene in Jackass 2 where they put pubic hairs on the guys face and played it off as just regular fake costume hair.

Did anybody watch last night?
When Sevillia stabbed herself, I shouted, "Oh she did not just do that!" I loved Marc Antony's response: "Now that's an exit."

I watched! I was shocked as well. I mean, I knew it was going to happen eventually but I just wasn't expecting it.
So many awesome lines last night:
Now that is an exit. ...and I'm still fucking your mother!!!
Man, I am so going to miss this show.

I am still too traumatized by last night's show to comment. It was good but...intense.
