I thought they were going that way (Mulder-type character) with Linda Blair's character a while back. I'd love to see more of her anyway.
I realized not long ago that the reason I love this show is it is what I wish X-files was: monster of the week with an overall plot involving the supernatural (heh, no pun intended!) rather then UFOs and government conspiracies.

I still think of this show as "X-Files Lite." I just hope Eric Kripke stays away from Chris Carter's stash of crack.
I liked last episode well enough but not as a Supernatural episode. It's odd that "Nightshifter," one of my favorites, and "Hollywood Babylon" were written by the same person... who also turned Angel into a vampire puppet.
I really want to see the next one. Mmm... jumpsuits.

Wait, the writer of "Hollywood Babylon" was the same as "Smile Time"? Wow...that's cool and impressive. I wish I kept up on things like that. Ok the jumpsuits were adorable ! I haven't watched the whole thing yet but what I did watch was very good. I like how Dean kind of fit into the jail scene .

I loved all the one-liners last night--anything that includes a Zoolander reference is cool by me. I'm also glad that someone who's part of the law/the establishment (the public defender) took note of all the witnesses that swear the Winchester Bros. saved their lives. I suspect Henrickson knows more than he is letting on about the boys' activities; he brushed all the witness accounts aside as the words of nutjobs, but one of those witnesses is a homicide cop with a good reputation. And I am way overthinking a tv show. I think next week's episode is going to be sad...poor Dean, seeing how life would have been with his entire family alive. You know that ain't gonna last.

Last night's epi was kind of not holding my attention. Not enough Sam! Also, no Johnny Cash music? That's just wrong.
I think next week's ep will be kinda sad, honestly. But I always love those "this is how your life could have been" because it's so fucking mean. See? You coulda been happy, but your life's a crapfest! Ha!
I wish I could do that kind of thing with my own life, and have it turn out my alterna-life had something deeply wrong with it so I can be happy with my real life.

I wonder what happened with the rights. Must've been something at the last minutes since they had it typed out in the CC. Weird. hahaha. I like the way you think.

bitca, I'll bet the Cash music was just too darn expensive in the end. All the good songs are. But that ep was just begging for it!
I'm really surprised this coming ep doesn't have Dean living in the Playboy Mansion or something. If you're gonna make somebody feel like crap for the life they've got, you might as well twist the knife, eh?

I just watched "Folsum Prison" ep and loved it. The show seems to be gelling now. Its a shame the season is almost over.
My big nitpick though..? Why did they have to go in as inmates. That didn't help them in the least really. They could have gone in as guards or maintenance people and then not involve 'the law' at all. It wouldn't have been nearly as interesting (Henriksen is HOT!), but would have made more sense.

Logic does not apply to (former X-File writer) John Shiban. He's great at characterization, but his episodes just don't hold together plot-wise. And I think "Folsom Prison Blues" is one of his better ones. I liked Henricksen and the PD for screwing up his plans. I liked poor, giant Tiny. I loved those orange jumpsuits. Good stuff all around.

I just told myself it was because as prisoners the other inmates would tell them stuff they wouldn't tell prison staff. Good enough for me, anyway, just bring on the pretty!
