It was in an American Pie movie in, I think, 2000? I can't believe people still say it. haha. One thing I did notice, they said Ava had been missing for a month, didn't they? Or they made a mention of the time frame between the last episode and this episode being a month. Which lead me to believe that the last episode was supposed to be the episode we saw before the long break and not the one we got. It was just kind of weird. (I like your icon, Tamara!) Thanks! (Denny love) I caught that too and thought it was really strange. I think you're right though and its probably just an error in how they were aired. BUT....the big secret was a great way to leave us hanging. God, I love this show.

"I like him. He says 'okey-dokey.'" "Renegade"! Mandroid!
I'm still grinning about this episode, and it's some two hours later. So very awesome. Everything just... rocked. Especially the ending. The Winchesters are so very screwed.

I died when "Renegade" started playing. I always love that song when I hear it and it just FIT ! The music and the 'metallicar' just make the show. But then nothing would be the same without the pretty pretty boys. I could sit and stare at Jensen all day long ! Those eyelashes, those cheeckbones, I'm all a flutter!
The only part that I didn't like as much about this episode was when Sam was so FBIish. I get why he was so harsh but that just didn't seem like the empathetic Sammy, to me. But really great episode. I love the 'okey-dokey' part. And even the smarmy, horn dog Dean part.

How awesome was the ending?
I'm with you, as soon as "Renegade" started I decided it was a GREAT episode. It just fit so perfectly in with the whole episode. Those boys are truly screwed.
The previews for next week are a little meh, but hopefully it is better than the preview would have me believe.

I imagine that eventually they'll meet a Mulderish member of the FBI who will try to help them. I hope. I mean how can they possibly overlook the one dead girl who completely has the same body and face as the other girl? Who likely does not have a twin?
But yes, it was an awesome ep. I loved hearing the word "Mandroid" over and over again.
Oh, and perhaps I'm a big dork but when the power went out and they had to find the shape shifter, why didn't they just use a camera phone to find the glowy eyes?

I totally thought the first cop in the outside 'headquarters' was kinda Mulder-ish in appearance (season 5 Mulder with the sideburns), so ya, I'm hoping they get a Mulder-type acquaintance real soon.

Speaking of Mulder, I thought the scene when they first meet Ron was totally out of "Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space.'" (season 3) When Ron said it was like Juan but too perfect? In my head: "Her hair was red, but too red." I was just waiting for a black sedan to pull up and reveal Alex Trebek and Jesse Ventura.

I hope its just a little *wink wink* at the audience. I'd hate to think they're resorting to stealing from the X-Files. (although with 10 seasons, its bound to happen)

I didn't get to watch this show when the first season was on TV, but I had a marathon season 1 DVD viewing last week, and I'm hooked. Thankfully season 2's showing now, a couple of episodes behind by the sounds of things.
I don't like that John died, apart from the fact that I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan is hot, I think the dynamic between the three of them could have been explored further.
"Bloodlust" was the most recent episode shown here. I was surprised, and pleased, to see Amber Benson - as a vampire, no less. She looks great as a brunette.
ETA: Yeah, more Dean. So pretty.

I've been hooked since day one and I'm happy to say it gets better and better.
