We got 'Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things' last night - the one with Zombie Angela. I can't decide if it's a good or bad title. I just imagine the writers brainstorming titles and someone saying 'somthing like...children shouldn't play with dead things...but not as lame', and then deciding on that.
Dean's angst is very pretty, and shaggable, I have to admit.

I kind of like the title "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" in a weird way. It amuses me. I also like "Everybody Loves a Clown" because in the end, nobody loves clowns.
I love that they changed "Touched" to "Houses of the Holy" simply because you can't go wrong with Led Zeppelin. If you can't use the music, go with the titles.
Speaking of "Houses," I liked the episode overall. It was a nice pause before the intensity that's probably coming down the pike.

It's the title of an old movie. www.imdb.com/title/tt0068370/

I liked "Houses of the Holy", which I guess puts me in the minority (if TWOP is anything to go by). I thoroughly enjoyed "Born Under a Bad Sign" this week--Evil!Sammy! A lot of good moments, though I turned to my husband and said "He's possessed" within the first 2.5 minutes of the show. On a different note, I wish TV Guide would do another "The 10 Best Shows You're Not Watching" and prominently feature "Supernatural." I vaguely remember when they did that for "Party of Five" and the ratings definitely went up.

Evil Sammy was HOT! That's the first time I've ever found Sammy hot. I'm looking forward to his descent into Eeeevil.

I'm an unabashed Deangirl, and I love Jensen Ackles, but man, Evil!Sam rocked this episode. That whole scene with Jo in the bar? "My daddy shot your daddy in the head." *shudder* Jared Padalecki was so creepy. Awesome.
Though, can we end an episode without the whole "You have to kill me!" "No, I won't!" argument? I get the idea. Sam wants Dean to do it because if he gets to the point where it has to be done, he won't kill himself. I get it, Kripke, now move on!
There's a community on LJ devoted to raising awareness for this show, letters to magazines and so on. According to Eric Kripke, the chances of renewal aren't stellar.

Fantasie117, where did you hear/read the part about SN likely not being renewed? Damn it, this always happens. I fall in love with a show and it's killed. The CW has done it no favors--next to no promotion, putting it up against the CSI/Grey's Anatomy Thursday night juggernaut...it's like the suits have done everything they could to bury the show. I wonder how it would do on Sunday, Monday at 8 or on Friday (though I know Fridays are a bit of a wasteland, tv-wise). I thought the show averages 3 million viewers an episode; not great numbers, but not bad for the CW. Certainly better than Veronica Mars or One Tree Hill. Ugh, I'm so depressed now...I think I'm going to eat a gooey dessert tonight to forget my pain.

That is depressing news. I really would miss this show. Thank god for dvd's, but 2 seasons just won't be enough.
Do you have the address for the LJ site? This is a fight I'd be willing to join.
I will say, in the Toronto area, it gets double play every week (on City and then Space) and the Toronto Star always highlights it in the listings as a BEST BET. I think someone there must have love for this show. I may drop them a line and thank them for that, and hint that maybe a cover story would be nice!

I know it's from Eric Kripke. It might either be an interview with TV Guide or a comment at some kind of panel. I know I read it myself, but I just can't remember where any more. It's been floating around LJ for a while. He said a 50-50 chance either way. This is the community: Promote SPN.
