I saw the show trending on Twitter last night and when I saw the clips...Yikes! The look on the trainers faces said it all. That was not happiness, it was genuine concern. The show and its producers will be huge hypocrites to not get that woman help, she obviously needs it.

I don't watch the show, but I looked up pictures after reading about this. She looked so much better, younger and prettier at 150 lbs, that should be a lesson to us all.

She looks like Teri Hatcher (and not in a good way).
Well, the show is just asking for something like this to happen. I can't look at any of those trainers without wanting to punch them in the face (even the hot guy).

I gasped out loud when she came out.The look on Jillian, Bob & the contestant behind them said it all.Her arms and legs were like toothpicks. Her face looked like Karen Carpenter. The producers need to change the rules that if you go too far on losing weight, you can't win. David looked the best. Who knew under that beard was a very handsome man. And Tumi(Sp?) is an inspiration to me.Glad she won the one hundred grand.
ETA: I noticed that Rachael didn't make the flight to NY for the press tour. That's a blessing in disguise.Seems like NBC may be hiding her or limiting her appearances. They need to do a lot of damage control.

People Article with Pictures She looks pale, but not as unhealthy as you all are saying. I didn't see the finale, and missed most of the season. In the red dress, she looks healthy. How did Ruben Studdard do?

I saw those pictures at first too and didn't really get the fuss. Interesting that PEOPLE isn't going with the current pics, because here they are... Rachel

How did Ruben Studdard do? This thread made me Google image the issue because I don't watch the show. She looks great in the magazine spread, but tanned and sinewy in the finale. link. here's another. In some pictures, she has the physique of a track and field athlete during active competition, but her face looks drawn (happens after weight loss) and this shape is likely not sustainable for her. In other pictures she just looks too thin and brittle. ETA: margojata beat me to it!

How did Ruben Studdard do? The photo in the red dress is not from the finale, it's from makeover week. She looks really skinny now. I assume that's why People isn't showing any full body current pictures.

People Article with Pictures She looks pale, but not as unhealthy as you all are saying. I didn't see the finale, and missed most of the season. In the red dress, she looks healthy. How did Ruben Studdard do? Those pics were taken when the finalists were announced (David has no scrub on his face) so she was still at a healthy weight then. But she probably only had 5-10 more lbs to lose at that point, which if she did- there's no wat she would have won unless Bobby or David failed to lose anymore. Why she felt compelled to go for the whole prize is beyond me. She'd already won so many prizes, PLUS gotten back to a healthy weight. They've gotta revamp the rules somehow or quit doing the show all together. There's no reason for anyone to get skeletal for some cash... But by the rules of the game if she wanted to win- that's the only way she could have done it. It's all by percentage of personal weight loss. When you're a woman in the mid 100's competing against guys still in the 200's, you shouldn't in theory have a shot. But I guess she set out to prove them wrong... except where she went is not even a little ok. I'm still stuck on why she wasn't satisfied with the numerous- and substantial prizes she already had- But... you know, I think something got switched on in her brain that was not rational. I think she must have gotten some addictive rush to seeing those pounds drop every week. But she was at a point where that SHOULDN'T have been happening much more. And she came up with some horrible way to make it happen. God bless this little girl. I know on some level it's her own doing... But I think the set up of the Show also has to bear a great deal of the blame. There should be some prize for getting to your goal or ideal weight first and then you have nothing more to win... unless they also add in a prize for maintaining that weight the best by the finale. Or else someone should have been keeping an eye on her (and the guys) during the in between time. I got the impression no one, certainly not the trainers or the host, had seen her at all until she stepped onto the stage all skin and bones. Ai yi yi. Poor dear, I hope she gets healthy again quick.
