I read that Storm is 37 and that her real name is Susan Storm Large (her parents were big fans of some comic). Anyways, I was surprised that she is that old (mind you, only a few years older than me so no offense). She looks younger to me. She deserves her own real gig, not these bozos. Wow, she's 37? She looks to be in her twenties. |

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I read she was 37. I need to be doing whatever she's doing. LOL. Well, except for the breast implants, 'cause I just ain't going there!
Did anyone else watch this weeks confessionals? Magni cracks. me. up. Talking about how he'll be crowned King of Iceland with a total straight face. Hee! Maybe he's serious though...

Ok, Tommy Lee is an officially an ass in my book. To tell Magni that there was nothing memorable in his original, but the other 3 basically had more catchier/memorable tunes....what a schmuck of the nth degree.
I would rather listen to the guitar riff on Magni's song than to hear Dilana sing of her SuperduperneetokeenSoul, Lucas whine and angst on about his little head spinning, and while I do like Toby's original very much...tonight was the 3rd time too much. Too much of a good thing and you get sick of it too fast.
I can't believe I'm still 'forced' to watch this show. My husband owes me big!!!
eta: and as for Mr. Rossi's snogging of the mic, I would also like to know WHY he does the little spastic movements that don't seem to coincide with any specific beat. Joe Cocker he aint!

Word! I decided to write his spasms off as some repetitive seizure he was having.
Oh, and when I look at Lukas, I can't help but picture Wayne taunting Garth with "I am the Leprechan."
I enjoyed Magni's original song. I was pissed at the SN members for acting like the others' efforts were better than his. What a load of crap.
I've never been big on reality shows. I'm still trying to figure out why I started watching this one.

The guitar Lukas was playing was almost bigger than him. My husband and I laugh at his "seizures", too. I know what he is going for, but it just looks ridiculous when he does it.

The unbridled enthusiasm which morning-"news" "personalities" on Global Television have for Lukas is staggering. The speak as if they actually know anything about rock music, when in reality they know nothing more than bar-b-q recipes and lawn-grooming tips. But they read "Canadian" on the teleprompter and their whitebread, suburban DNA kicks in and they think they can speak intelligently about things like "that's what rock-and-roll is all about."
They haven't got a clue, really.

Magni will be the lead singer for |The House Band.. The house band was having more fun with the Deep Purple song, and the original than I have seen them have all season. Tommy was pissed about this, and that was why he smacked Magni. I still have the guitar riff from his song in my head now. Magni will not win, thankfully.

Magni + House Band + Hush = best thing on the show in two seasons. That was brilliant.
Then again, Magni + House Band + Any Song = something I'd pay to see.
I find it hard to believe that he was 4th after initial voting...I think it's the producers deciding those statistics, not the general public. Lukas was 4th in my view. His seizures are the least annoying thing about him, at least they make me laugh.
