I've had so many people recommend this to me so I decided to give it a try and I guess I just don't get it. In my opinion, this show is so dated. I also hated the trope of talking to the camera or all the sly winks and nods and grins at the audience. You're evil, we get it. I only lasted through 3 episodes and then had to give it up. Just not my cup of tea, I guess.

Anybody planning on watching Orphan Black? Look interesting! Maybe, but I totally miss "Ripper Street."

I miss Ripper Street too. Didn't expect to like it as much as I did.
Orphan Black looks really interesting right now. I hope it lives up to the hype.

If you can get your eyes and ears on "In the Flesh" (on BBC Three), I suggest you do so. Ostensibly about reformed zombies, it's really more a disturbing meditation on identity and intolerance. With brain-eating.

But it took the place of my beloved Being Human. Bastard people.

With brain-eating. You just had to mention a sci-fi/fantasy/horror show to peak my interest . My sci-fi/fantasy habit is out of control right now.

Anyone watching Broadchurch? It's superb - probably the best thing I've seen since Sherlock. Not on US TV yet, though.

I actually liked the similarly-themed "Mayday" more, but that's mostly due to my inability to see Tennant as anything but a honey-glazed ham. "Mayday" is gorgeously photographed, too, and there's a creepy, supernatural dread throughout.

Did anyone watch Orphan Black? I'm iffy on it. I floved Felix. Might have to watch just to see what he does and says.
I didn't like Sarah much, but hopefully, she'll be a better person after she finds out about the conspiracy.
