robneville, thanks, I tried but I keep getting an "error loading this content" error. It'll play the advertisments, of course, but not the episode. I updated my browser and flashplayer. No big, I'll figure something out. Have you tried here?

I know, but I hate watching TV on my tiny laptop, and it's too old to connect to the TV. I think it is going to air here eventually. Btw why is an American show being discussed in the 'British TV thread'? Not that it matters, just curious. BBC Three picked it up, so it should be airing in the UK soon. BBC Worldwide owns the international distribution rights, and it airs and is co-produced by BBC America.

Btw why is an American show being discussed in the 'British TV thread'? Not that it matters, just curious. It's a BBC co-production with Canada, it's shot in Toronto with mostly Canadian actors. Some of the talent, writers, actors etc may be English but the BBC is a partner so if it hasn't already aired there it probably will shortly. Apparently the BBC is very aware of the buzz around Maslany and is trying to get her profile raised among the Emmy voting members. BBC America are the co-producers, though, not the actual BBC - the show is pretty much completely (north) American. Sorry, I feel like I'm being wanky in bringing it up. I'm not complaining. God knows there aren't too many great British shows on at the moment - where the hell is my Sherlock??

Sherlock is taking waaaaay too long, I want to see just how he faked his death in front of everyone. Utopia which aired here recently was very good. Couldn't get into In The Flesh, great opening then kinda lost interest.

I LOVED Orphan Black. I somehow missed all marketing/publicity for it.(But it seems like everyone else did too). The episodes flew by. The storyline was taut and suspenseful. The acting was dynamite! I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm so bummed that I have to wait a year for season 2.

All 10 episodes just flew by. Wow, how on Earth did this show fly under the radar for so long?! Truly, if it weren't for the constant chatter here, I really would not have stumbled upon it. What a gem.
And yeah, I too am seriously bummed out I have to wait till God knows when for season 2!

Well, Orphan Black sucked me in quickly. I'm only halfway through the first season and I really, really like it. I hope that season two comes quickly so people don't forget about this show. And this show is why I like tv shows that cast unknown (or largely unknown, to U.S. audiences, anyway) actors - it gives you a chance to get totally sucked into a show without thinking about the actors' real lives. Especially the main character - damn, that girl can act! The last show to get me hooked this quickly was BSG, and I've still not recovered from that one.

If you are ever in touch with the person on the show you're sort of related to, tell them " thanks " and that a lot of people appreciate the effort that goes into making something good.

That's a really good idea - and a massive step up from my planned "uh, I like your show." If I ever get a chance to meet him I will tell him that his show has many fans on CPMoG.

With all the talk about Orphan Black, I finally watched the first episode today. Oh yeah, I'll be watching more! Is it the weekend yet so I can marathon it?
