The meeting the parents thing just reminded me of something that really cracked me up last night ... (and I blame the producers for this - not Moana) When Moana was talking to Travis's parents, they asked her how many dates they'd had before she introduced him to her parents. She said four, and then went on to talk about what a big deal it was, because she didn't bring a lot of guys home, and thought it was a very very special thing. All three of them were talking about it as if she and Travis had had any sort of decision making in their meeting. HELLO? It's the format of the show! If you get far enough, you take the guy home to meet your parents. It's not like THEY decided the time was right. Cracked me up.

I think even if Moana had made her feelings better known to the parents she still would have a hard time with them. You could tell they really liked Sarah, they probably know alot of women just like Sarah.

It was funny how one of the little girls said she liked Moana better since Sarah is a kindergarten teacher who prides herself on interacting well with children.
I don't think Travis is in love with Sarah. Why is there no after the rose show? Can Travis and Sarah be that boring? Maybe Moana refused to participate in it and without her there's no show.

I found that Travis was so much more animated when talking about Moana with his sister than he was when discussing Sarah. And I got the impression that he really wanted his family to give Moana chance at dinner and not compare her to Sarah. The tide certainly turned for Moana at the dinner and I was amazed at how unforthcoming she was with his family. I was also struck at her body language during the rose ceremony. She really shut down after his "but you're not the one for me" part of the speech.
I don't usually watch this show but I thought I'd tune it during the last episode. I stopped counting how many times I had to mute the TV because of cliches coming out of everyone's mouths. I eventually countered the high drama and sacchariness of the Bachelor with the Metallica/Black Album episode of Classic Albums on Much More Music. Talk about your contrasts! Moana/Sarah cry/profess their love for Travis (which came up as Traffic in the close captions), switch channels and the hard rock provided sweet relief!

How come there hasn't been any after the show? Don't they usually do that after the season finale. I guess they must of have broken up already.

That was actually very painful to watch. She ran by his house everyday and he never noticed her. That is how vanilla Sarah is. I had to mute that scene-I just couldn't stomach it and feel awful for her. As for Sarah? Wow! I remain blind to the magical connection they share other than being mirror images of each other - background wise.

Well Travis had his adventurous woman and he chose the safe-soccer-mom-perfect-arm-candy-for-the-country-club-wife which he will eventually cheat on like most doctors do.

I just heard on the radio the other day that Sarah has a new man. That's got to be some sort of a record to not even make it back to do interviews after the final show.

I read about that too. Here's an article on it. The most interesting part, to me, was the last sentence of this: Susan the actress? The one who was playing him for all it was worth as a way to get to Hollywood? He wanted her even after all he knew her motives by the end of the show??! What an idiot. Unless he only wanted her for the sex since he knew it would never last. In which case he's just somewhat slimey. The alternative choice of Jehan is interesting too given how he dumped her far before the end of the show. All in all, he's less intelligent and more immature than he appeared when he was on the show with all the rejected girls. There, he showed tact and class in never saying anything about any of the women, including Rotten Eggs girl. But now.... he just seems like a doofus.

Well all this explains why there's no after the rose show. None of these people can act well enough to appear as if they care about the outcome of the show.
Lamest! Bachelor! Ever!
