I think it was Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man, and that one was awesome. CSM...such a badass, but he really wants to be a novelist.

It would be awesome if they could find a way to bring CSM back. The actor who played him spoke at my university during the heyday of the X-Files and he was just delightful. He told us about his really funny theory (that I can't completely remember) that Mulder was virgin and it was really just all the sexual frustration that made him all wiggy (he also completely believed that CSM was quite the stud with the ladies).

I'm not totally sure I buy "virgin," but Mulder's closest sexual relationship was clearly with his own hand.

I loved that episode! I remember his pen name was Lee Raoul Bloodworth, and he was writing for a dirty magazine. I felt so bad for him when they changed his story. "This isn't my ending!" Oh CSM, you were the best.

William B. Davis (who played CSM) runs an acting school in Vancouver now.

This thread is taking me back. I loved this show. I think I need to rent the DVDs, because my memory is so hazy. The funny episodes (like "Bad Blood") were awesome, IMO, and "Home" still freaks me out when I think about it. As does the ep with the cockroaches -- eeek!

Someone refresh my memory -- how did the Lone Gunmen die? I loved them; I think I blocked out the memory because I want to think they're still off, doing their goofy conspiracy magazine and just being nerds in general. Oh, and while I'm at it, what happened to Marita?

I didn't watch the last couple of seasons. Once Mulder was gone, I lost interest. I'm bad X-Files fan.

I remember Marita being locked up and tortured in some secret testing facility..Mulder ran into her there. I remember not being able to concentrate on anything except her totally jacked up cracked lips. I'm not sure if that was before or after she helped Krycek push CSM down the stairs.

This was one of my all-time favorite shows ever, and my memory is so damn hazy. I should get the DVDs.

Man I hope they are jerkin' us around with the new movie. I really want to see Mulder and Scully again. I want to know that they are back on the X files and Mrs. Scully watches William while they are away. Yes, I'm a fan of the baby. As long as he is raised by M and S.
