Supposedly, the legal issue is being settled this week, and Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz just started working on the script.

I'm excited, even if they DID kill off all the best characters. I'm guessing Skinner will be back, but the real question is...what about Doggett and Reyes?

I liked Doggett better than Mulder in the end there, but Moronica "Joan Jett" still bugged. I didn't even finish Season 9 - and this, from a devoted fan since Season 3. My baby was Krycek, anyway. *weeps*

I think they waited too long for this movie. Does anyone still care?

Somewhere, I picked up the phrase "beat you with a wet Krycek." (Variation of "beat you with a wet noodle.) That was a punishment I would have had no problems with. ;D

A new X-Files movie? Oh, jeez, already I feel embarrassed for everyone involved. I used to get a kick out of this show, but the ship has sailed! Let it R.I.P. already, it was utter crap by the last two seasons anyway. Yeah, I bet David Duchovny's happy since he has appeared in one stinker after another since he left the show but I do not care if David Duchovny is happy.

(Shallow side note: Krycheck was waaayyy hotter than Mulder.)

I will totally go see this movie if/when it is made.

I didn't watch any of the last season except the series finale, which totally blew. I would have no problem with the movie making no mention of Doggett and Reyes as I like to pretend they never existed anyway. Doggett really wasn't that bad, and I feel bad for the actor because he stepped into a bad situation but I just can't deal with anything so closely linked to the last 2 seasons. I hated them so.

Now if they find a way to resurrect Krycek, then we'll be talking. He was hot, but I don't know if I liked him better then Mulder. I really loved Mulder.

I don't know how I feel about the possibility of the movie. Everyone will be older and uglier now. Ehh.
