If there's one show that can do it, it's this one. ;D I don't know how I feel about the possibility of the movie. Everyone will be older and uglier now. Ehh. Haha. That's true. Even if they found a way to bring back Krycek, I saw him on an episode of CSI a few years ago and he was looking puffy. They've said that if the movie actually happens it will just be about Mulder, Scully, and a monster--so none of the conspiracy stuff. I'm okay with that--the conspiracy stuff (and the fucking BABY) are what ruined the last two seasons for me. It became increasingly clear that Chris Carter had no idea what he was doing or where the story was going. Oh, and Monica Reyes. She sucked.

I agree and I haven't even seen the BABY yet. I've just started watching X-Files on DVD and am on the beginning of Season 3 now. Season 2 was chock full of conspiracy stuff and by the time it was over I was glad to get back to the weird case of the week pattern. The alien story was fun to watch, but it was too confusing and too full of plot holes.

I'm glad they've decided to leave the mythology stuff out of it. Now that CC has had some time to reflect, maybe he finally realizes how convoluted it all was.

One of the last episodes I watched had her crying and whining for Mulder to return - NOT the Dana Scully we all knew and loved. That's why I stopped watching.

I think the baby went to live on a farm somewhere....no joke. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that, while it was revealed that Mulder WAS the father, he and Scully and William (the baby) didn't all live happily ever after because the kid was creepy and she had to give it up for adoption. HA.

I stopped watching because of all the "humorous" episodes they started doing. They were literally painful to watch. I remember one episode concerned a bunch of kids imitating stunts they saw on a show called Dumbass. Like Jackass but different because it's a joke, ha ha ha ha ha ha! Get it? Get it?
Seriously, I could not take that crap any longer. I didn't even watch the finale; that's how much this show was pissing me off at that point.
Too bad too, because the first four or five years were awesome. Cancer Man (later called "Cigarette-Smoking Man") was the best, and Mr. X. had the most wonderfully over-the-top lines. My sister and I still like to say to each other, "The Statue of Liberty is ON VACATION, Mr. Mulder!" (Sis even had an "X" taped to her window in his honor.)

(Sis even had an "X" taped to her window in his honor.) That is so cool! I had totally forgotten about that. And I didn't watch the finale either. My tape is gathering dust on a shelf somewhere. I didn't even make it until the final Lone Gunmen episode - and I loved those guys.

It's soooo sad. I'm about ready to start sniffling here at my desk just thinking about it.

Yeah, I never watched the one where the Lone Gunman died either.
I always did like the "funny" episodes, though, even the ones towards the end. The crossover with Cops was so, so hilarious. I love it.

Oh, that one was great. I loved how Scully kept trying to hide her face from the cameras.
I am kinda glad that the movie (if they do it) will most likely be a monster-of-the-week type movie rather than the UFO mythology deal, but I do wonder how they'll address a lot of stuff. Will Mulder and Scully remember that they have a son living out on a farm? Will that be addressed at all? And I don't quite remember their status at the end of the series - weren't they kinda on the run? In the movie would they be back at the FBI? Or will they living undercover as "Floyd" and "Donna" when "Floyd" discovers a monster living in the sewer and they can't help but investigate?
