"Too-tee. I just love saying Too-tee."
The shoe sure sucked in its later seasons, especially once Mrs. Garrett left. Having Cloris (who the hell gives their daughter a name that is one "it" away from a female body part?) Leachman come in did nothing for the show.

I thought that "Over Our Heads" was the coolest store ever when I was a kid.

Thanks for jogging my memory. So, no one ever got to date George? What a waste of a hottie.

I thought that "Over Our Heads" was the coolest store ever when I was a kid. I did too. It was like a better lit Spencers without the pervy stuff. Cloris Leachman was the total jump the shark moment in the show. Andy and that girl Pipa soon followed. I used to LOVE that show. I remember the later episodes better which is sad because the show really wasn't very good towards the end. I even remember when they tried to do a spin off show with Blair in charge of Eastland and a whole new crop of girls (which included Juliette Lewis as the "bad girl"). I think my favorite later episode is when they got to perform with El Debarge as hot singing group Sexy Lingerie. Speaking of singing groups, I've always felt that Edna's Edibles would be an excellent name for a band.

I just read somewhere that Tootie was only 9 years old when she started the show!

This? HIGH-LARIOUS. I will one up your dork-dom. I was psyched beyond belief when I was an acting undergrad and I actually met a classmate who was from Peekskill. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when he told me the school for girls did not exist. Oh--and..."Tootie"
