This sounds like how they described it on the E! THS on plastic surgery nightmares. If I remember right, any licensed surgeon can perform the procedures and call themselves a cosmetic surgeon, but to be called a plastic surgeon you had to be board certified, and therefore have done the extra study/exams specific to plastic surgery procedures.

I'm glad to know that other people were creeped out by the TMI genital surgery couple. I can't believe they talked about their sex life in front of their parents and the woman's grandmother!

Two more things that were creepy about this episode. One, that the guy had his girlfriend's mom doing his dressings, maybe thats the person who had to do it, but that would make me super uncomfortable. Two, that the mom was (hopefully) joking that the guy and the girlfriend's dad were comparing penises. So weird.

Dr. Matlock really grosses me out. I've never heard of that vaginal laser stuff to treat SUI, and I've edited a lot of articles about treating SUI surgically for my job.

Then pulling out her catheter from the vag rejuvination, painful! With all the stuff that woman had done, I imagine her recovery is going to be really painful.

Yeah that fat cooking was really rough and nasty. I do wish that they showed more of the recovery period on the show. They seem to show them immediately after the surgery and then later when they are starting to feel better. I think they gloss over the pain too much. What cracked me up about that patient was that once she explained that she had stress induced incontience, they keep showing her doing things that might have made her leak. It was like, look she might be peeing right now! It was a little weird.
