"I just found out Count Dracula is a f*ggot." I STILL don't get that! And one of my all-time fave riffs: "Now that I'm drivin', those caribou don't stand a chance."

Excellent! New titles. I'm ordering now.
My favorite shows: Mitchell, Manos, Merlin's Shop of Horrors, The Dead Talk Back and The Prince of Space. Favorite line: "The Phantom of Crack Whore?" I laugh through that entire movie and I've seen it 100x.

I quote Mitchell all the time. I could never make it through Manos - try as they might, the movie was just SO BORING. I love Attack of The The Eye Creatures, Space Mutiny, Outlaw, Pod People ("Trumpy, you can do stupid things!"), the one with Miles and Miles O'Keefe, and the one where Crow falls for Estelle Winwood (The Magic Sword).

Manos, I think, is something that you have to be in the right set of mind to appreciate. The first couple times I tried to watch it, it was horrible. But then one time it just clicked - the absurdity of the whole thing - and I laughed myself sick. I've loved it every since.

Do we have any Cinematic Titanic fans in the house? I've got tickets for the show in Austin in March...

I would love to see them live! Lucky you! I bought all their DVDs, some are funnier than others.

I got through Manos exactly 1 time, and kostgard is exactly right - for some reason I was in a mood to deal with how low-key it was, and it was actually pretty hilarious once the movie stopped DRIVING AROUND.
I don't think I want to watch it again, though.

Just got back from the Cinematic Titanic show, and it was hilarious! It was so good to hear all the familiar voices riffing on one of the worst movies I've ever seen--"The Dynamite Brothers", a kung-fu/blaxploitation film that appeared to have been edited by chimps.
The kids and I wanted to stay and meet the cast, but Mr. d was hell-bent on being the first car out of the parking garage, so the kids did not get to sing their two-part harmony version of the Gamera theme song for Joel and the gang. Maybe next time...

Just saw "Legacy of Blood" last night; the riffing was slow in the beginning, but amped up as it progressed.
"Salvador Dali called... He says he doesn't get it." Mary Jo Pehl's delivery of that line KILLED me!
