Bump because the Premiere of Season Two is Wednesday at 11 pm EST/ 10 Central.

And guess what? Anthony Bourdain will be one of the guest judges at some point in the season!!! YAY! I'm so giddy I could dance. Le Bernardin's Eric Ripert will be another guest judge.

As for the new host, I posted about her before (because I think she is gorrrrrrrrgeous) but I just learnt that she used to be married to Salman Rushdie. Yikes.

As for Lee Anne from last season, she will be involved with Season Two online:

I watched part of the marathon over the weekend. It made me remember how disappointed I was when Lee Anne got cut. She is a very talented chef and a very sweet person, I'm sure she'll go far.

Anyone heard anything about Tiffani?

I think she is still married to him and I agree she is very gorgeous. I guess she will be my eye candy because judging from the pictures of the new contestants there are no hotties (like Harold) that I can drool over. I am so excited this show is back!!!

Here is a long article on Tiffani and what she's been up to since the show.

Personally, I don't believe editing was solely to blame for how she appeared on the show. I also don't buy the article's attempts to make her out to be sweet, low-keyed, quiet and almost self-effacing.

As for Harold, this is his MySpace profile. From one of the comments left on his page just last week, it seems he's still in close contact with Lee Anne who, btw, is the 3rd person on his friends list. Oh, and I just saw, in his photo section, he's drinking with Lee Anne and some guy who's wearing a "I'm not your bitch... Bitch" t-shirt. Heh.

That just makes him more huggable! Harold! *squeal* God, I'm pathetic. I always imagined he'd put on weight. I bet when middle age spread hits him he'll be a nicely round chef, who should remain in my kitchen and make coconut soup for me.

They seem to be revealing a bit o' drama a little early this season. Or maybe I'm just noticing it more.

Okay, this just pisses me off. I get that TPTB believe there will always be a "need" for obnoxious contestants on shows like this to up the drama. But to actually hold a survey 30 minutes into the first episode asking "Who will be this season's villain?"--just no. I am watching the fucking show to see them make food, not to see them be as rude as they possibly can to each other for no other reason than air time.

Blah. I was planning on using this show to wash away the bad taste of the Project Runway finale. This will not help.
