Yay! Beady eyed Miguel left! Stephan is a pretentious twit, but a lot of his a-holeness appears to be immaturity. He may grow out of it. Tiffany is not the nicest person, she's playing the game and is arrogant but she's not incompetent. Miguel is incompetent and can't take responsibility for his own actions. He couldn't even have the fish scaled? WTF? Then he's like "it wasn't my fault". Take responsibility dude. You bought the fish, it's your fault.

The best Stephen moment was when he was ragging on the other team's concept because, god forbid, "it was all about being comforting and welcoming. I don't do that." Said with a totally straight face. BTW, he has a website with a journal commenting on the episodes as they air at stephenasprinio.com. Episode 2 is classic.
Also, um, I think Harold is hot. Like really, really hot. I don't know why, but that bearhug with Miguel was so sexy, especially the hand on the head. Just...gah. Hot. I'm weird, I know.

Heh! And throw in a dash of Pee Wee Herman, too.
And didn't he want like, 30 gravy boats? Where was he going with those?
Hooray for my favorite Dave winning the trip to Cannes! Boo that he has to go with Chodorow and his giant jowly face.
I love Leanne and Harold and hope they make it to the end as they seem like competent and kind people.

Hooray for my favorite Dave winning the trip to Cannes! Boo that he has to go with Chodorow and his giant jowly face. No kidding. What happened to Chodorow? Did Rocco send him running for comfort food? Speaking of which, what an UNBELIEVABLE ass, he was! I hated Rocco DiSpirito the way that I normally reserve for Pekingese. (Which is one step below the Cruise/Scientology hatred). Did Rocco finally implode on his own ego? If not, WHY hasn't he? The man drove me nuts and, as much as I respect my elders, so did his mother. The two of them were like something out of some awful Italian caricature. Only completely DELUSIONAL. (And yes, I know reality TV cuts things to make a person look bad or controversial but no-one forced that woman to spout off all her pathetic excuses for her son's incompetence, absence, ego and bratty behavior.) Me too. I was struck tonight by Leanne's way of being brutally honest -- versus --- Tiffany's. Leanne was candid while not making things personal or an attack on the chef's underlying personality. She wasn't a pit bull at all. She seemed almost chagrined to have to say what she thought, as opposed to Tiffany who relished saying how others were inferior and inadequate. Leanne really is all about the food, not grinding other people into the dust and making them feel like S***. Hence, her comment about taking Miguel out for a beer. Contrast that with Tiffany, the egomaniac, who was shocked she lost and who thinks people should just deal with her bitchy arrogance. And, if they have a bad reaction to it, it's all their fault because they "can't handle the truth." I hate people like that. I despise how some people think they have a built-in justification for their own bitchiness or awful conduct, because it's always "someone else's fault." It's the ultimate in copouts, egotism, and narcissism, IMO. "Yeah, I beat you up. But it's all your fault and if you were better, stronger or more capable, you wouldn't have been in that position to begin with. So, stop whining. It's all your fault that I forced to treat you that way."

Lee Anne and Harold are my favorites still. I only caught the end of the restaurant wars episode, so I'm going to run home from work and catch the repeat. I love Harold and his slouchy, baggy-trousered, arms-crossed self. I want to marry him so he can cook for me all day long. Pathetic, yes.

That is so true.
My boyfriend and I also laughed outload at Stephen's "comfort food quote".

Nice to see I'm not alone in the Harold love. Mmm...him and his weak little chin. Le sigh.
Thank god Miguel-I'm-missing-a-few-chromosomes is gone.
Everytime they pan to Stephen's face I crack up. I had the same reaction everytime Santino would say "ANDREEE". Thanks Bravo. Thanks.

I'm sure the part of the elimination deliberations we didn't see included the judges talking about how Stephen really deserved to go, but that he was too much of an obvious dickwad to eliminate yet. Every reality show needs their Omarosa, and this one has Stephen.

Oh my sweet Lord, I went to Stephen's website and it was actually physically painful to read. I had to avert my eyes a few times, I was so embarrassed for the tyke. The bragging is certainly in the top three percent of anything I've ever seen. And, hilariously, his grammar is atrocious. "To" for "too", "of" instead of "have", that sort of thing. There is this type of error in one sentence....and the next sentence goes on about how "he is used to being surrounded by intelligent people" or some such drivel. Tee hee! I wouldn't normally pick on someone's grammar unless...it was Stephen.
