Albert's attorney has supposedly confirmed that it is true that Albert is the father of Alexandre.

Albert's lawyer THIERRY LACOSTE has confirmed that DNA tests have been carried out - and prove the royal is the father.

I thought they had said they wouldn't have any response at least until after the official mourning period (July) so I'm wondering if any other news source is reporting this. How reliable is Contact Music?

I wonder -- given the history of the Grimaldis and the global media -- whether Albert honestly expects to achive anything with this lawsuit. I think it's all posturing, including that frivolous privacy suit. Because I think this was carefully orchestrated by his palace peeps to happen precisely at the time that it has. It is just all too convenient that it was revealed just weeks after his father's death. His responses to the media have never been denials.

I believe Mineards, the royal watcher/journalist, who said on the air that Albert's the baby daddy, and that this was an open secret among the royal set.

Besides, according to Paris Match, the chick lives in his Parisian apartment, and there are pictures of him proudly posing with the baby, looking all comfy and caring that were also shown on TV.

I agree with you 99.44% pure. I smell a rat. I think he was in on it too and like a dumbass, she went along with it, making herself look like a villain and Albert like a victim. PLEASE!! Albert wanted this to happen. The more I think about it, why would she jeopardize her living situation, the payments he sends her, and alienating him? That wouldn't be wise. It just tells me he wanted it to come out this way. I'm not shocked by this because Albert has ALWAYS had an eye for black chicks ( just the media always shows the white ones) but, MOST others seem shocked by it. Even reluctant to say it's his baby. One look at Alexandre and you KNOW he's Albert's son. Everyone is in a mad rush to villify the mother. Sad but true. FYI, Albert is every bit just as responsible for CREATING Alexandre as Nicole is.

This whole media blitz with the mother seems strange, it just screams that he is not gay, like the papers have been reporting two weeks ago (looking for a discreet woman to be artifically inseminated) . I don't see why someone who is being taken care of would be giving interviews and jeopardizing the future financial arrangements, unless he needs a diversion.

Oh well, that's why I love them. But then I think of poor Grace, who started my whole Grimaldi love. I think she would be a little upset with the way things have turned out.
I so look forward to the next generation, that my children can snark on. Stephanie's circus children will have to provide some entertainment or maybe the go the opposite direction. Charlotte is so beautiful, I can't decide whether I want to see her in scandal or happy. But the rest should cause some trouble in the upcoming years. It will be a relief from the boring Wills and Harry. No glamour, no fun. I read somewhere people aren't even that interested ion Wills anymore. He's managed to keep his private life private. Good for him, bad for snark.
