Heh. No need for a DNA test or a statement from Monaco. The silence is defeaning. I really wonder how Albert is explaining this to Caroline. I can't imagine that she is pleased by this.

I think that Albert would have to marry the woman for the kid to enter into the line of succession. And we all know thats not happening.

But then again, I believe that Rainier's mother was illegitimate. And I doubt that Caroline is shocked by all of this. She must know by now that Albert is a big ol' slut.

Caroline has little room to be shocked since she was pregnant before every single one of her marriages. Then again, it's not like Albert is like Stephanie, who will have a kid with anyone (circus trainer, bodyguard, unknown sperm donor...). I can only imagine what Grace would say about all of her offspring.

She was indeed, her mother was a laundress and her father was Louis II. He adopted Charlotte and made her his heir.

Seeee? I KNEW Albert was dipping his wang in the chocolate pool. Way back in '99 (I think) during the World Music Awards, he was allll into Janet Jackson (who was receiving some award that year). I remember wanting Albert to marry Janet so she'd become a princess - Princess Janet of Monaco!

So much snark, so little time...

I'm just getting around to this thread....I first saw this on one of the entertainment shows. When they did the teaser and showed the baby, I said aloud, 'that baby's black and it's Prince Albert's 'cause he's got the same big head as Albert's. Who was holding and playing, and even feeding the 21 month old whose name is "Alexandre".

Never heard about the gay thing until the Internet but heard about his loving the swirl with black women back when he was in his late 20s, early 30s.

For our Canadian neighbors, and others, who read/speak French, there's this article in Paris Match in which the baby mama tells all.

Richard Mineards, who's always reporting on royalty, pretty much confirmed it and claimed it is fairly common knowledge in the royal circle that Prince Rainier III's the baby daddy.

My take? I think Albert gave the mama permission to release the story although some in the Palace claim that he had wanted her to wait until the 3-month mourning period for Prince Rainier II was over. And little Alexandre is cute, just like his balding daddy, though Alexandre has plenty more hair.
