OK, I laughed at the Dunkin commercial. I feel like Ben’s “you’re embarrassing me in front of my friends” and J Lo’s demanding “grab me a glazed” is an accurate depiction of their couple dynamic.

I can believe Ben eats donuts occasionally but I doubt JLo does. She seems like she would have a pretty disciplined diet and exercise regime.

I just wanted to say I liked his take on an older, sort of grizzled Batman. And I thought he looked hot in those movies. SORRY He was in the full-length Flash trailer as Bruce Wayne that debuted online tonight during the Super Bowl (a shorter commercial aired during the broadcast that I think only had his voice, if that), and he still looked good as Bruce, I have to say. I really liked most of the casting for those DCEU movies (Ezra Miller excluded), and it’s too bad everything else about those movies got so toxic that after this Flash movie, they have to ditch the one thing that worked: the casting. I also think that the Air Jordan movie trailer looks good. I’m in the weird space where I actually I like him as both a performer and a director, but I still find any and all news about his personal life exhausting. His pap walks (of which no one will convince me that he is not an instigator since it crosses all his relationships consistently), the gambling and drinking stories, his cheating with the nanny, his looking miserable at an event to support his wife …. all exhausting. But do I still laugh during the Dunkin’ commercial? Yes, yes I do, especially since it’s not a shady crypto commercial like his buddy. |

Rob Gronkowski (formerly of the Patriots) used to occasionally work the drive through of his (and my) local Dunkin. Not for a commercial, just to make people happy. Even though he's not from here and doesn't live here full time anymore, he comes back all the time to do local charity work, way more than Affleck ever does. I guess that's why I don't find Ben's commercial as charming as I could. He and his brother get a lot of mileage out of their identities, but don't give back. Casey Affleck's Dunkin skit on SNL was cute though. I can believe Ben eats donuts occasionally but I doubt JLo does. She seems like she would have a pretty disciplined diet and exercise regime. She sleeps 10 hours a day, she works out for two hours a day, she drinks at least 7 glasses of water a day, she doesn't drink alcohol or caffeine, she doesn't smoke, and she has used SPF 30 sunscreen every single day since her early 20s. And all that work paid off. I doubt she eats a lot of donuts. |

They filmed that commercial at a Dunkin’s walking distance from my place. And I didn’t know until later that day otherwise I would’ve been there the whole time.

In the Fauxmoi sub, there is a thread asking which celebs are intelligent.
Someone mentioned Ben Affleck to which another replied "An Ivy League brain with Dunkin Donuts tastes."
Never a more apt description of Ben.
