Holy shit, Andrea and Sisi are ugly! Why did they let those two wear such gigantic sunglasses during their shoots? It hid their ugliness, yes, but if you have to resort to that then you have no business modelling.

Heather was very pretty. I thought Sylvie was pretty as well, but since she got the boot, I guess the judges did not agree.

Speaking of the judges, yowza on Stacey McKenzie. She looks terrible. Almost as bad as Andrea and Sisi.

I was less then impressed with the model house. It didn't even have a theme. It was nice from the outside, but from the inside it just looked like somebody's boring little summer cottage. No posters of models or shiny "C.N.T.M" signs on the wall or anything.

I don't remember who it was but that girl who wore the skintight baby blue jeans with the yellow top and the belt and the lopsided ponytail? Needs to join this century.

That's exactly what I expected too. I can understand why they booted Sylvie, but I'm disappointed because she looked interesting at least.

I guess I'm in the minority, and I've only watched the first 2 seasons of ANTM, but this show has me impressed a bit. Not a lot. But Jay actually gave advice that made sense I thought. For the first time ever, as a viewer, I totally understood him and thought he gave good solid helpful advice. Maybe he does on ANTM now too but the seasons I watched, he didn't, or they didn't air it. The advice they did give on ANTM 1 & 2 seemed bizarre. It was amazing the girls ever got anything out of it.

Oh and the chick who needs to join this century is the Beyonce-wannabe.

Finally, what was up with telling that last girl she was TOO tall? Is there ever such a thing as TOO tall for runway work in Europe??

For those who raised the question, she plays lead femme fatale/killer robot Six on the new Battlestar Galactica and is *awesome* at it. Thank goodness this isn't the other place or else it would be all - "how dare you! she's the best actress EVAH! SHAME!" - but seriously, she has (a) no fivehead and (b) actual acting talent, both of which put her ahead of Miss Tyra in my book.

Based on the website, Andrea is really fug. Ylenia is gorgeous.

Plus, if we watch ANTM on the Canadian channel, we DON'T get the "My Life as a Cover Girl" segments - which sounds like another good thing, based on y'all's description of them.

Back to the topic at hand, I couldn't believe they kicked Sylvie off and kept Andrea. The competition is most likely going to kill the microscopic self-esteem Andrea's currently hiding. It would have been more likely they would have turned Sylvie into a diva in stilettos (not by much, mind you.)

I know! Andrea is so fug! Sylvie's picture where she was wearing the cherry-shaped earrings was really cool, I thought.

I'm not sure I buy Andrea having such low self-esteem, though. Anyone with really low self esteem would never try out to be in a modelling contest. If Andrea really feels that horrible about her looks, I don't buy that she would think she could be a model.

I just went to the website to check this out. I'm a Yank so I can't watch it.

I'm really surprised at the choices. None of these girls look like models, even after the makeovers.

And is Tyra getting a cut of this for letting them used the franchise?

At least the product placement is a little less blatantly obvious in ANTM.

There is no way Ylenia is 23. Add 10 years to that and it's a bit more accurate.

I also do not see how the blonde girl is any larger than the rest of them.

The whiny girl seems anorexic to me. All that body hair.... I'm surprised they kept her if they want her to get rid of it. That's not going to be easy to remove or cheap.

Tricia impressed me with how helpful she was. She definitely beats Tyra as a coach and guide.

I still think they should have kept Sylvie. And that Sisi chick grates. Lord, she's one mean girl.

I like Ylenia but really, I'm not super excited about any of them. Oh yea, found their blogs online and that Heather girl with the perfect walk seems way bitchy to me. I was frankly surprised at that. She hides it well on tv.
