I could be wrong, but I thiiiink that photo shoot was at the Laurel Point Inn. My parents love that hotel and it looks like it was the same one. (And the suite we stayed in there had a TV in the BATHROOM!)

I'm not a huge Sisi fan, but... her snarky attitude is kind of growing on me. I sort of like that she's so disdainful of the other girls, and she really takes great photos. She is very creative.

She takes good pictures, isn't that what modeling is about and not some stupid exercise tasks? Ok, I know it's a reality show and not a modeling contest but I'm glad she's in it 'cause she is a good model, she's better than all the rest together.

I loved how the trainer trashed the scale, I've always hated how they weigh the girls in ANTM for drama because the weight does. not. matter. in modeling business, it's all about the measurements.

The show is kind of boring but I obsessively watch all model shows I can find, so.

I'm still enjoying this show for the location spotting. The "media boot camp" was in the A Channel (formerly New VI) building, and I think the boutique they went in is on Government Street... near Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or possibly Roots. I looked in the window sadly last week but didn't bother to go in because it is clearly expensive.

And Brandi... dancing to a gas (or... it might be propane over here? I don't think we have gas) stove is not funny. If it's making that clicking noise, as far as I know, that means gas/propane/whatever is leaking out into the air. Yeah, hilarious!

Please, can anyone tell me what is the fun (or purpose?) of dancing with a gas stove on? I don't understand it at all. It looked completely stupid, not to mention unsafe.

Tenika is stark raving mad and I'm glad she got the boot last night.

Andrea is the most boring slug on the face of the earth. Her interview was so typical. "I wasn't pretty in high school. Everyone called me names. I am going to be a big star and laugh at them." Tired. Also, she is still ugly today, so I don't know where she gets off with her "I USED to be ugly" speech.

Sisi declaring she makes her own clothes? This struck me as funny as hell, since she usually dresses badly. I bet she made that hideous white hat she always wears.

Ylenia is beautiful, definately the prettiest of the bunch, but she does look much older than her age. I would never guess she's 23. Looks more like 30.

Best line of the night: the judges debating whether or not to tell Sisi, "You have a lazy eye".

Brandi's got an ugly mole and it's bothering me.

Not a clue, but it's clear from the footage they showed that she does it all the time. It could be one of those "drunk things" - behavior that makes perfect sense if you're drunk as a skunk. As an example, I had a friend who was watching the news while plastered. The lottery guy came on, and she started going on about how he was such a "Moncton man." Much smiling and nodding occurred, because the rest of us had no clue what the hell she was going on about.

I wasn't all that surprised that Tenika got the axe this week, but I was surprised that Alana didn't. She was weak in the photo and in all the interview exercises. Go fig.

When will someone throw out "Lip Licker" (aka Alanna) already? I am tired of her.

Andrea is still ugly.

Tricia is starting to piss me off. First she was on Natalie's case to lose weight. Then she got on Ylenia's case about being "big." Then she told Alanna she's not sure her "gym body" will cut it. And then last night she told Andrea to gain some weight and told Ylenia she'd lost too much! What the hell. I think Tricia is getting shit for encouraging weight loss and quickly changed her tune last night so no one will accuse her of trying to turn young girls anorexic.

Stacey McKenzie is truly frightening. I think she used to be a man. She is, like, seven feet tall, and has a deeper voice than most men!

I laughed and laughed at Andrea cutting up her sweater and using the arms for legwarmers in an attempt to impress Stacey with her so-called creativity.

I predict a win for Brandy. Andrea won't win because she's not into it and she's too bitter and immature. Sisi won't win because she says too many horrible things. Alanna won't win because I think the judges hate her.

I think Sisi will win. Brandy is just not that good, and they're consistently impressed with Sisi's photos. On the other hand, as they've pointed out (without going into detail?!), Sisi has already had a chance at modelling at some point in the past.

Yeah, I don't know what is up with Tricia and people's weight. The girls honestly look about the same to me. (I think that's probably because they're so much thinner than I am, so they all look relatively the same.) I mean, I know there's an "ideal" modelling body, but surely they don't have to be exact? How possible is it to get the EXACT measurements she's looking for (whatever those are), anyway? There is no way they would even throw a token plus-size girl on this show (like in ANTM).

I'm with laconicchick - I think Sisi's going to win.

As for the weight thing, it's the same thing on ANTM. Life is rerunning Season two at 4 am, and Yoanna is "too square" and Bethany's boobs were too big (in spite of being smaller than some of the other girls) and yadda yadda yadda. It's a totally warped industry.

I'm glad they didn't throw in a token plus-size girl, because the story's nearly always the same - they come in full of piss and vinegar, and the crap attitude that people take toward them kill their spirit. Then Tyra (or Tricia) tells them that "You've lost your spunk. Sorry, time to go," and that's that. I'd rather see a solely plus-size series.


And could they please axe the whiny-ass Andrea? (Although the advice to start eating properly is good, if being ignored.)

I have seen a grand total of two pics of Stacey, pre-CNTM. They were in a spread Cosmo magazine did about models in skimpy clothes. In both her pictures, Stacey was wearing clothes that totally showed her butt crack. I specifically remember looking at those pics and thinking that besides having tacky taste, she was also the ugliest "model" ever.

My brother is scared of her. Seriously, every time she comes on screen he's like, "Aaaargh! She's so creepy!"
