Okay, I'm watching it now...heavily fast-forwarded and I can not believe how incredibly cheap the whole thing looks. Seriously, what should be show-stopping performances - Shakira goes Bollywood! OK GO on treadmills! -- just come off as half-assed, tossed-off and without any energy whatsover. I mean, Justin is incredible but he was just there, you know? I can't tell if it is due to very bad editing or the fact that no one really cares or both.

Lou Reed got virtually no introduction whatsoever? Come on, people.

From the comments here I'm guessing it doesn't get much better.

Wow, Beyonce. Just...wow. I actually like her a lot and have seen her live. Few people could pull that off. I happen to think she's one of them. She just is a showman, through and through.

Panic at the Disco is just painful to listen to. Sorry, but if you can't sing live with a general concept of where the key is, then you don't deserve a top ten single and a media blitzkrieg.
