I got Showtime specifically because I am a huge David Duchovny fan and I wanted to watch his new show "Californication." Great show btw.
Then I started watching "Weeds" through the "On Demand" feature. Another great show! I never knew what I was missing! Who knew Kevin Nealon could be so funny?
Anyway, I remember reading about Dexter in one of the entertainment mags. So I watched the first episode through "On Demand." I was instantly hooked! Only like one of the best dramas ever! I watched every episode and can hardly wait to see what will happen in the second season.
I have to say that I think Michael C. Hall was totally dissed and robbed by not even being nominated for an emmy for his portrayal of a serial killer. And James Spader won? As if!!!

There was nothing on TV today so I turned on OnDemand to see if there was anything, and now I'm watching the first season. It's really good. Michael C. Hall is excellent. Totally Emmy-worthy. I don't get Showtime, though.

This show looks extremely interesting. Just saw the promos on basic cable. Don't get Showtime, never will. But this guy is hot.

Man, This is such a great show! I just recieved this as a gift from a friend, and I thought it was great. Michael C. Hall is so fantastic is this. I never got to see him in Six Feet Under, so I was really looking forward to his performance.
However, I really HATE Deb. I don't really know why except that she just rubs me the wrong way or something. She doesn't take away from the overall love of the show though!

The promo photo of Dexter for the new season is cracking me up. He has a "I just pooped in the toilet like a big boy" look on is face.

Season premiere was last night - it was great! The season is shaping up to be a nailbiter already. Dexter's dumping ground is discovered. He's lost the will to kill. His gf is beginning to have doubts.
Who didn't crack up laffing at Chief Detective NewHaitianLady having her romantic crisis in the office? Teehee..

I don't have Showtime, but I TiVoed this during the free preview weekend and watched last night. Awesome. I now have S1 on my Netflix queue. Such an interesting show. I was cracking up at "I will not kill my sister. I will not kill my sister."
Nice to see Julie Benz in a non-vamp role. She's really good.

Is there any chance that the new episodes are available on line somewhere? I love this show but I really don't want to have to get Showtime just for one series.

Somebody here in St. Louis wrote a letter to the editor of the Post-Dispatch complaining about a billboard bearing the ad with Michael C. Hall spattered with blood and grinning: "Won't somebody think of the children?" Jebus.
