It also said Yvonne Strahovski's character is "the wife of a killer" on the show ... Splitting hairs, maybe, but her ex-bf was a convicted killer. I'm pretty sure she murdered her husband.
Oh well -- love to see the cast having fun.

Is this season boring or is it just me? I've been forcing myself to keep up with it because it's the final season. If this were any other season, I think I would have stopped watching.
The most annoying thing is Hanna the fugitive who didn't even both to dye her hair and makes no effort to truly hide. She goes to the home of someone she's known by authorities to be associated with in broad daylight with that blonde hair flowing and looking hot in her tight pink dress and heels. I don't care what kind of neighborhood that is. A knockout like her is going to be noticed. And then She and Dexter leave this home, again, in broad daylight, with suitcase in hand just after a federal marshall questioned her friend without even glancing around to see if that marshall might be parked up the road watching.
Is this supposed to mean that Dexter has become incredibly stupid because he's so in love? Is his love for Hanna going to going to make him realize that he was never Vogel's perfect psychopath and that with the right guidance he would have been capable of living a nice ordinary life all along without having to murder people, only to sadly be caught when he finally has this epiphany? I mean, I hope there's a point to what's transpired so far this season. I'm worried that there's a happy ending coming, and I don't think that's the best way to end this show.

This season has been so silly. I thought the Doomsday Killer season was ridiculous, but this whole Dr Vogel thing is just so illogical and weird.

This season has been incredibly boring. I couldn't for the life of me tell someone what has happened this season except there was a reasonably nice shot of MCH's ass.
Seriously. I don't care or buy any of the storylines this season. None of the characters make any sense based on what has been established in 7 previous years. Dexter spends a lot of time dwelling on Hannah and Vogel/Brainsurgeon, both of which are incredibly boring and I give no fucks about. I can't figure out why Dexter does. The entire season has been one giant fucking borefest.
My hope is Dexter just kills everyone in the final episode. Because that would make as much sense (and be 100x more interesting) than this entire season.

I know. It's been so dull, I don't even care that it's ending anymore. At this point I'm far more interested in what's going to happen on Ray Donovan (bad fake Boston accents and all.)

I think we were supposed to get the message that it's twu wuv between Dexter and Hanna during their surrounded by white light Skinemax love scene. And I see in the promo that Hanna is in the airport with Harrison, a place with heavy security that can make non-fugitives nervous, with that hair of hers. None of this makes sense. You don't have to be a master criminal to know that, once Hanna had the money, she should have left immediately on her own with Dexter and Harrison to follow months later once he establishes a plausible explanation for his leaving, you know, like moving. People do it all the time. It's not a huge deal. But instead he's leaving to travel. Yeah, that doesn't raise suspicion at all.
I suppose it's not surprising that this season has been so bad considering these are the writers who wasted a season focusing on how Deb was in LOVE with her brother. That was a good indication that they had no idea what they were doing anymore. Jennifer Carpenter stated in an interview that she had been playing it this way all along, but I think she was full of shit and just towing the line in saying that because...it's ridiculous!!!

That was even worse than I expected it to be. It wouldn't have been so bad if there weren't so many plot holes and character inconsistencies over the last two seasons. I think the most satisfying end to the series would have been the most predictable one -- Dexter slowly being found out by his colleagues. LaGuerta started the ball rolling and someone could have picked it up for the final season. With Deb having killed LaGuerta and being caught in Dexter's web, it would be sufficiently tragic and gut wrenching enough for the writers to feel like they were brave or whatever it is they need to feel good about themselves. Well liked characters who carry deep, dark secrets that are exposed to the light of day is a storyline that's been done over and over again. That's because it works. It's endlessly entertaining. Oh, well. That storyline might be pursued in the proposed spinoff (minus Deb, of course).

I'm assuming the spinoff is Masuka and his daughter. Because otherwise, wtf was that plot for?!
Doesn't matter though. I'll never watch anything by Scott Buck ever again.
The only thing I enjoyed about the finale is the unanimous roar of fury from the internet about fucking awful it was.

There were a few fans who liked the ending and gave valid reasons why. Then there's the typical pretentious if you don't like _____, you don't understand types.
