I thought that was common knowledge. They certainly didn't have the greatest marriage and John wasn't as fond of Cynthia as she was of him right from the start.

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about Ringo? He's the butt of every joke. Is it because he was the drummer?

Lennon had the cojones to put wifebeating right into one of the Beatles' most chipper songs, "Getting Better." I remember having a real WTF moment when I first sat down and listened to that song.

There has been much talk about Paul McCartney and the Beatles catalog on the Michael Jackson thread. Doesn't Yoko have an interest in this catalog too. I never hear about her mentioning it.

From what I remember, Yoko and Paul were supposed to buy the copyrights back between them, then Yoko pulled out and MJ got his talons into them instead.
However, as John's dead, his rights revert back to his heirs (not sure exactly who, but I'm guessing Yoko, possibly Sean...maybe Julian as well), soon. I think sooner than the rights revert back to Paul, but I'm not sure about that. Anyone know for sure?

Why is Cynthia coming out with this stuff NOW? Please -- the man has been dead for 25 years, why in the hell does she need to bring up a thing like this? And is she still calling herself Cynthia Lennon? Has she ever remarried? Is there yet another book on the horizon to make her a few bucks? Pisses me off... let the man rest in peace.
