She's been married and divorced three times. I can see having the same last name as your child, but... really.

Well it's not really a secret. Lennon admitted to being abusive.

Cynthia Lennon writes in "John," that he was prone to violent tantrums, according to an excerpt published in The Sunday Times, which is serializing the book. "I could put up with his outbursts, the jealousy and possessiveness but not the violence," she writes.
Hmm, I believe she wrote one book about him already. Talk about desperate.

Two books? And, as someone said already, it's been so many years! I can't recall any books written by Jane Asher or Patti Boyd or Ringo's first wife, Maureen something. I could be wrong, of course. The book I'd be interested in is one by Patti Boyd. She must have had something interesting going on to get not one but two legendary rockers fascinated with her.

Read The Love You Make by Steven Gaines and Peter Brown from 1982. It's been documented. And they call Yoko an exploiter. Pul-eeze!

She wrote "A Twist of Lennon" in 1980. John tried to stop the publication, but later found out (after being unsuccessful) that it was pretty tame with nothing really bad about him. I guess she thought she needed to get it all out 25 years later? Sigh.. therapy would have worked too. I just looked all that up. And I saw Patti Boyd on something a few years ago. She did not age well at all. And of course the Clapton marriage didn't last long either.

Maureen Starkey died a few years ago of leukemia I think. She and Ringo had divorced in the 70s and she kept a low profile.
Jane Asher was always very ladylike and reticient about her relationship with Paul. I don't think she's EVER talked about it. She became a well-known British actress and later caterer, and did wind up writing several books -- about cake decorating and costume creation for parties, one of which featured Monty Python's Terry Jones as a model.
Patti's book, I'd love to see. (Along with Anita Pallenburg's.) But it seems she's a recluse.

She died in 1994. Her second husband co-owned the Hard Rock Cafe franchises.

Me, too, but it won't happen. She remained good friends with both ex-husbands after they divorced. I'm impressed that she was able to forgive Eric- he was awful to her.

Eric was awful to her. not only did he have the affair that resulted in Connor (the son who died) but a couple of years back he admitted that he had gotten drunk and raped Patti.
