Wednesday at 10 p.m. the second series is on BBC Canada. I can't wait!!!!! WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? I don't see anything about it here in America. Not liking this, not liking this at all...... |

It's bad enough BBC America edits the show, but they have to say something soon.
Not that I'm not going to love Robin Hood, but I need some Sam and the Gene Genie!

Yeah, well you see BBC Canada programing is better than BBC America (neener, neener). A friend of mine in San Francisco always bitches about the lack of variety of the shows, the haphazard scheduling and whatnot. I think we are only what, 2 weeks behind transmission in the UK? Now if the CBC could only catch up on the Coronation Street episodes, I would be a happy gal.
Saw the first episode and it does not disappoint.

So I watched the last episode, it felt like there was two endings - should have stuck with the first one in my opinion. Thought John Simm was excellent though.
(Being non specific as not sure about spoilering!)

Still worth watching series 2 though. Newly announced 80's spinoff with Gene Hunt should be interesting!

This show has only just started here, and it's awesome. I'm a bit sad to learn that it only goes for two seasons - but excited to learn there'll be a Gene Hunt spin-off series. At least there's less DVD's for me to buy. And I have to admit to having a small crush on Gene, even if he is a yob.
