In 'celebrity' terms Warney wouldn't even be a blip on the financial radar. In his playing days he wasn't even the highest paid Australian cricketer - Gilchrist was and he was 'only' just topping two million a year. And he lost a lot of his endorsements in between the drug scandals and the Indian bookmaker scandals and beating up on teenage boys in New Zealand.
I just think he got confused when people told him to stick it up the Poms this summer.

This Celebitchy[/color] article from News of the World suggests that Liz was supporting both of them with her Estee Lauder contracts. It also says that Hugh Grant is still hanging around as her 'best friend' and traveling/living with her and Arun. |

I read in the good old Daily Mail and other places that she has been supporting the both of them. Arun's family is wealthy but he doesn't actually have any money himself. It doesn't matter, apparently, they've already worked out the details of a quickie divorce so apparently money is not an issue. Rumors are that he was annoyed that she gets so much attention in the West but he (or his family) are extremely well-known and wealthy in India. Whatevs, dude. We never knew ya!

So she's engaged to that Aussie cricket guy[/color]. Now, I know that Hugh Grant is a prick, and maybe Arun is too, but this seems a baffling turn of events. Not only is this guy apparently a douche, he looks like an "after" from a Bad Plastic Surgery site! Ugh. WTF is wrong with Liz Hurley? I have to agree with Lainey's analysis here - she must hate herself, because...why? |
