I think Lydia is sleeping with her stepson! They probably roll around in all the cheese while her husband is out flying around. Janet seems ok except for the horrific work she keeps having done to her face. And Chyka seems to really know about business. I liked how Gina explained how someone misquoted her but it didn't mean anyone was lying. *sigh* I'm in. Oh yeah, I forgot about Janet. She does seem pretty nice and harmless. I like that she is so open and unapologetic about getting work done (unlike Jackie who claims that her face is untouched... please, bitch! Your forehead doesn't move!). But yes, Janet needs to lay off a bit. She would be pretty if she just let things go natural for awhile. And then there's the other chick who's married to the plastic surgeon... Andrea? Wow, her checklist for the nanny(ies). Unreal. I hope she at least pays well.

On Demand has the first 2 episodes of the RHo Melbourne, Australia. If you like these things, you will not be disappointed. I couldn't understand them all the time, but I plan to continue watching. And I want them to put subtitles on the RHo Athens, Greece and air that too. *runs to You Tube and other sources to find RHoAG and RHoMe* I'll try and translate for you, if I find the episodes, éclair. ETA: I'm cracking up because I'm using a French-language keyboard and MS software today, so éclair cannot be written without the fancy "e".

Oh, I think I need the fancy "e" when speaking about these fancy ladies, Sardonictart. I caught the 4th episode today. Whoever said Lydia is vapid is so right. Mrs. Plastic Surgeon was really goading Jackie about falling while learning to ski.

What in the hell was up with Andrea's hair when they were shopping in the ski town? It looked like a rat's nest!

I love the Melbourne housewives; I sometimes watch with closed captioning but most of the time I don't have any problem understanding them. Andrea's face never moves, yes her husband's done a lot of work on her. I don't know if Lydia is sleeping with her stepson. I've learned that people have different boundaries, but I thought it was strange that they were going dress shopping together, even if she WAS going with her stepson it would be a bit odd. I wonder if something's wrong with Gina with all that clown make up even when she's playing tennis. I once knew a girl who always wore a lot of make up; it was because she felt she didn't look good enough without it. I like Jackie because she's so ridiculous, her husband does NOT look like Johnny Depp. Spoilers for season two on this page.

I love them too! Despite all the little sniping they've been doing about Gina, they are still way WAY more nice than our gals who create drama constantly. And they have interesting scenery and jewelry! See, Andy Cohen - sometimes we like "nice" more than leg throwing, screaming DRAMA.
I like Chyka (just not her name). PLEASE don't let us find out that she's got a cheating husband. Something about a happy marriage always seems to fall all to hell. She seems fun - laughs off most of that drama (despite Andrea droning on and on about nothing while never moving her face).

So far Chyka is my favorite although I do wish she'd chop off the bit of hair in the back that gives her a mullet. She looks great with a pixie cut. I like Gina 10 lbs of makeup and all. All the rest can take several seats.

I detest Gina; I hate people who are chronically late ALL THE TIME.
I wonder what Gina's hiding under all that make up. I find people who pile on the pain sometimes have serious self-esteem issues. If Gina's so confident, why the ten pounds of make up?

I LOVE Gina (other than the serious punctuality problem, which would preclude us from being friends IRL). I loved, "Well, don't look, dahling. Don't look." HA! Perfectly unflappable response to Andrea, who was acting like a friggin' rabid dog.
Chyka was acting kind of wimpy during/about that whole situation but, overall, she's my favorite. She's nice and normal. Janet's cool, too. Jackie's a kook, but harmless and I like her, too.

I don't know what the F was going on there - I feel like they got handed a script to start dinner table and poolside drama like all our American gals do. I knew the more pleasant and happy women was too good to be true!
I like Gina too because of how she holds her cool. I'm sure she played up that tennis thing for all it was worth for TV. Why not be the only gal in heels who looks ridiculous? That Andrea is just a sourpuss who wants to start shit everywhere she goes. And judging by her book and nanny list - I don't think she was putting that personality on for television.
Now what is Janet's problem? She jumped out of nowhere into "must attack Gina too!" territory. Is she just worried that the diamond shopping and random dating isn't enough to keep her on this show? Well, it sort of isn't. She's pretty boring even when she does attack.
