I just started watching it and I'm positively agape the whole time. These people can't actually exist, can they?

Yup, I watch it. I don't like these women much, but I can't help it. Also, I can't stand the wannabe baseball player. Shane, I think.

One of the last things I read on TWoP before it went buh-bye was that Vicki was having an affair with the owner of her favorite restaurant. There's a picture of her and him on some website. That's the kind of gossip I loved to read on that thread! I know, bad! But oh well.

CAgirl, when I read your post, I had to go and check TWoP. It really is gone! I just finished reading the entire thread yesterday, and I am so glad because it was chock full of gossipy goodness.

I am betting it was the posts from the parent of George's first wife that resulted in the lawyers' requests to close it down.

I'm pretty sure that's why, too. All that drama had nothing to do with what's on the show. I don't even think they ever mentioned George's ex wife on the show. But all that gossip was great, wasn't it?

I watch the show because I live in the area. Unfortunately women like this are very common. Completely superficial with the life's goal of being called a MILF.

I'm never really shocked at their antics, but I have to say I was surprised at Vicki's "chinky, chinky chinaman" comment about one of her clients. I know she's stupid, but that was jaw dropping. I love the nickname they gave her at TWOP: Truffle Hunter.

Shane annoys the crap out of me. Plus, he has dead eyes. Dead, psycho, hamster-killing eyes. Run, Colton, run!

I've only watched a couple episodes, but my main question is: is there anyone likeable on this show? Vicki's a racist micromanaging freak; Jeana doesn't know whether or not Columbia is a good school; Jo is beyond any hope of redemption; George seems like a dink; Slade is creepy and Lauri's an emptyheaded dingbat.

It's actually kind of okay if none of them are likeable; that makes it so much better to laugh at them!
