Thank goodness we started a thread here- that TWoP thread was one of my favorites.

Although I will say that the constant posts from George's ex-mother-in-law were getting annoying. I truly don't like Lauri, but I'm sure the truth about her is somewhere in the middle of "woman bravely dealing with a rebellious son" and "whore who lets animals starve to death."

Jeana (the brunette) was the ZZ Top girl. I think she's in the Legs video. She was also in Playboy, IIRC.

Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of the Lauri/George/Ex-Wife drama? I had just gotten to the point in the thread that people we're talking about it when it was shut down!

I watched about fifteen minutes of this show and turned it off after one of the screechy harpies screamed at some poor receptionist over the phone about not being able to get the internet on a cruise ship. Ugh. I'm not saying my standards are high (I watch Flavor of Love AND I Love New York, people), but this show is horrid. Plus I can't tell any of the women apart, so they all just meld into one horrible b*itch.

Hobocamp, my darling bad-TV soulmate, may I suggest watching TRHOOC while in the throes of PMS? It actually felt fantastic to have a veritable buffet of targets for my hatred. There's something to hate in all of them!

Basically, George's ex-wife is Gina. Gina's mother was posting on TWoP and on the OC Register website about Lauri. She claimed that Lauri starved her ex-husband's dog to death, that Ashley would have parties all the time and that Ashley's friends are the ones who provided Josh with drugs, and that George only wants to be on television, and that's why he's with Lauri. Josh is currently living with Gina right now, which is all sorts of weird, and Gina is in litigation with George over the children. It was basically post after post talking about how horrible Lauri and George are, and how Gina is a saint.

Basically, I think she was talking so much crap that TWoP shut the thread down, and Bravo made their board moderator approved.

I watch this show too, god help me. I just sit there and keep thinking that money is wasted on the toolish and the shallow. It's not fair.

Edited to add: I just watched the Legs video...she sure let herself go.
