I can't believe that Jenna lets Shane talk to her friends like that. My mom would have my head, if I was ever rude to one of her friends. Why does Shane already have a house that worth 1 million? He doesn't work or do anything to deserve a one million dollar house. I don't know how Colton turned out to be so normal, but I hope he gets out of that house without turning into another Shane.

I know! That kid is a monster because the mom molded him into one.
Personally, if one of my friend's kids called me "Tits" I would not go over again until it was stopped. They are all pathetic.

Oh, Lordy, where is TWoP when you need it. You KNOW that there would have been 20 pages of snark by now after that last spisode.
I only saw the last 8 minutes, and the preview for next week....and all I can say is WTF.....
If I were "Tits", I would have walked over to the kid and slapped him senseless..... Then I would have left the house and left the show until I had an apology from the little shit as well as from his mother. Now that would be good TV.
And Slade drops $25,000 to $35,000 of diamonds for Jo? I think not. I think he rented the bling.
Next weeks show? Love it! Vicki yet again calling Laurie on her age. This was a favorite topic on TWoP. How Vicki is always doing a passive/aggressive thing by reminding Lourie and everyone else in earshot (including the viewers) that Laurie is getting long in the tooth. Heavens, she looks like at mid-forties peri-menapausal woman with a ton of surgery, does she think it's romantic and ooey gooey to talk about making babies? She sounds like a 15 year romantic, not a 45 yo mother of two very f***ed up ADULT CHILDREN. And she thinks it's cute because everyone thinks she's pregant?
It's as delusional as Vicki thinking she's a MILF.

Speaking of long in the tooth, my last post has been hanging the air for almost a week, so I guess it not quite double posting at this time.
I just watched the whole show during the marathon today, and I'm reminded of something a OBGYN told me a few years ago. He said that he gets these plump lipped and botoxed, trainerized bodies and boob jobs, hair extentioned and apple cheeked forty somethings that do look years younger, but while their outsides might look in the thirties, their insides are as old and shriveled as any other 40/50 yo. In other words, those baby making days are over.
He said that it is not unusual to have a 40/50 yo botoxed babe show up all gigglie because they missed a period, and thinking there are procreating with their new honey....and it's really menophase.

I saw this episode in bits and pieces, but, oh my god, Shane is just the crudest, most moronic piece of garbage. Did Jeana hear him call her "dear friend" that? And she still thinks she did a good job raising those kids? Yeah, right. Probably. Of course, with an ungrateful idiot like Jo, I'd do the same thing. |

I saw this episode in bits and pieces, but, oh my god, Shane is just the crudest, most moronic piece of garbage. Did Jeana hear him call her "dear friend" that? And she still thinks she did a good job raising those kids? Yeah, right. Oh isn't that the truth? That kid is such a jerk. I don't get his whole hottie reputation either. He's too much of a mouth breather for my tastes. Her favoritism of him is very dysfunctional. I feel sorry for the other two that seemed to get pushed to the wayside. All in all, I think they're all white trash with money. Not one of them appears to be educated. I guess Jo went to UCI for awhile. Still, they are such a repugnant bunch. It makes me ashamed to admit I'm from Orange County. I'd like to say these women are an exaggeration, but they are more common than not. All of them chasing the MILF dream. |

Ah, my people. I agree: Don't any of these older kids work at any job? Go to college? Have any aspirations other than getting out of bed and going to watch TV or sit by the pool?
If I had ever talked to any of my parents friends the way Shane did ("Tits"? Are you f*cking kidding me?), my head would have been separated from my body and would still be orbiting the earth.
Don't you love how Lauri went out on a blind date with a wealthy developer and *gasp* fell in love?

Both Jo and Ashley, Lauri's daughter, are worthless bags of tanned flesh. Just because you say you deserve something, doesn't really provide evidence that you do. You might think you are the best, but others can--and do--disagree. Shut. Up.

I always think it's interesting how the daughters and moms go on and on about what they want and deserve, while the sons are just stand aroudn silent and/or brooding. I can't imagine how this is supposed to turn out well-adjusted adults.
Also, it's fascinating that Slade is "giving" Jo a music career to help them bond and because he doesn't want her running off with an LA producer, yet all Won-G does is rub her up at every opportunity. Good call, there, Slade.
Finally, am I crazy, or did Slade have younger children in the first season? Didn't he want Jo home taking care of the children? Did they grow up and morph into one, older kid?
