I was worried it was JJ's family. I was on pins & needles the entire episode.

The last 10 mins were hard to stomach. The actress portraying Haley was amazing. It was heartbreaking. Thomas Gibson is so far removed from Dharma & Greg. He gutted me.

Dude, that was rough . . . I kept waiting for a reveal that Haley was still alive (since we only heard the gunshots), but credit to CM to have the guts to follow through with such a downbeat ending.

Did DB Sweeney do 6 episodes as per the rumoured 'arc'? I only remember him in one other?

That was such a sad episode. One of their best.

I only remember him in 3 (1 - premiere, 2 - episode where Hotch watched a video of Jack, 3 - this one).

This was an amazing episode. I'm glad others enjoyed it as well since CM has a fairly small fandom.

That was an excellent episode. Heart wrenching and suspenseful. Great acting.

That's Meredith Monroe from Dawson's Creek fame. I really liked her, and it's such a shame she hasn't had more success.

She's been making the rounds on CBS dramas. Last year she was on "Moonlight" a couple times and I just saw her on "The Mentalist". I like her too, I'm shocked they killled her off.

I admit I've been late in discovering this show... it just happened about 2 months ago. This coincided with my acquiring digital cable and a DVR, so I've now seen nearly every episode thanks to reruns on A&E and Ion. I have finally stopped calling Hotch "Greg", Derek "Malcolm", and Gideon "Inigo Montoya".

I will soon be lost when I cannot watch 3 or 4 new-to-me episodes sans commercials whenever I feel like it.

And yeah, last week's episode was killer.

Spinoff gets a director.

The upcoming Criminal Minds spin-off, set to begin production in February, has found itself a director, and no other than the same guy who helmed the original Criminal Minds pilot that aired some four years ago.

Richard Shepard, who directed "Extreme Aggressor" on CBS' Criminal Minds, has signed on to handle the show's spin-off as well, or at least the pilot episode, Variety reports.
