I kind of like Sweets' new look.
I'm glad Brennan wasn't the one to come back pregnant, but overall, I could do without Angela being pregnant. I wonder if she's going to lose the baby at some point, or at least come close, since they're making a point of having her not tell most of the others.

How sad is it that I didn't even notice? I know a lot of people are rooting for Sweets and Daisy to get back together, but I can't help it -- I can't stand her. I want Sweets to move on, but I have a feeling that won't happen.

This is completely out there, but... What if the first episode of season six is a dream sequence? I know A LOT of fans were upset by the premiere, the way things fell into place, the continuity errors (such as Cam being so incompetent) so here's an idea that's at least a little fun to think about. Sort of like fan fiction, I suppose. Bones states several times that she has dreamed of working with Booth on cases. She has always found other people to be incompetent, so in her dream she would see Cam as an utter failure. Her best friend in her dream is living in Paris, happily pregnant (one of the things Bones wanted for herself), Booth has moved on with a gorgeous girl, and their relationship isn't an issue and she believes she's happy for him (something else she had wanted to believe would be possible), the case they solve has a happy ending, there's snakes and guerrillas she defeats like Wonder-Woman...and then there's a ridiculous Mastodon in the room at the end. If they open next episode with her waking in the jungle and having the tone darker and more poignant with real effects on the team then I wouldn't be disappointed. I'm the one dreaming, huh? ETA: Ok, this is obviously what happens after LOST is over. It leaves a hole, people. A hole!

I'll keep watching, because I love this show, but I have no idea why the writers wrote themselves off a cliff last season only to thrown themselves a rope made of unicorn hair in the first episode.
If they wanted everything to go back to normal, why end the season that way?

I want Sweets to move on, but I have a feeling that won't happen. I'll come sit next to you. I hate her! Her chipper little "Lancelot" bullshit makes me want to boot. The only things I thought was stupid/weird in the premiere was that Cam was SO incompetent and she's been shown to be freaking awesome. Seemed to come out of nowhere. And Booth being able to come back from combat. Umm... Normally when you do something with the military they have you sign a contract in blood. For him to come back after seven months with a "LOLZ SEE U GUISE!" made me roll my eyes.

Federal agencies honor agreements with other agencies.
I suspect he just agreed to do a tour as a reservist, with the FBI still being his main employer.
As such, if he convinced someone in the FBI to pull him out, he'd be out.
It's not that unusual.

Ok, I've moved from denial into acceptance that that was really the premiere.
I'm thinking now that it isn't a matter of Cam being incompetent, but that she's a fresh body/flesh examiner and the child's body was bones. And I think it was mentioned offhand that her new crew wasn't as competent as Bones would have been with the examination.
But still, they didn't make that very clear and it was just came off as a messy episode.

If they wanted everything to go back to normal, why end the season that way? So true. I have to stop watching this show because it just pisses me off. It used to be good but just ridiculous now. Brennan and her Jersey Shore documentary? Were they driving to Jersey to interview the Guidos? That part wasn't clear to me.

I'll keep watching for the hell of it, but it really is getting pretty annoying. Where was all of this taking place? Was it Jersey? Because if so, it makes no sense logistically. Jersey and DC aren't exactly right next to each other. That's quite a drive. And the whole Guido thing was over the top. And the idiocy of Bones at times over the simplest things has always bothered me. She definitely seems to be getting stupider as the seasons go on.

I'm not exactly sure what the hell is going with this show now.
