Damn, I forgot it was on and tuned in just in time to go, "Is that Starbuck?" I hope they rerun it or put the episode on the website like they do with Heroes. Liked the ten minutes I saw, anyway. Although from what I saw I don't like the very robotic way she runs. I know she's turbo but you'd think you'd just run superfast in a natural way.

Okay, I admit that sci-fi is not my thing. I did, however, love the bionic woman as a kid (and the bionic man, bionic boy, and bionic dog!). I wanted so much to love this version but I'm just confused by it all and I missed the first 15 minutes. Nice bionic woman haz crayzee bug eyez. If you have bionic legs that you really don't have full control over, wouldn't the boyfriend possibly be dead after the sex? Where the hell is Oscar Goldman, dammit? I'm so not cool.

Heh. BeeBee, I haven't seen the original Bionic Woman since I was a kid, but even I kept waiting for Oscar, or at least trying to figure out who was the new Oscar.
I'll keep recording it for now. I'm a sucker for Miguel Ferrer, after all!

I didn't like it. First of it, the "bionic woman" looks like a teenaged girl. I think the original was a pro athlete, not a high school dropout, working in a bar and dating a professor AND getting pregnant.
Katiee should have been the Bionic Woman because THAT'S a woman.

Yeah, Evil Bionic Woman was about a 1,000 times more charismatic than Good Bionic Woman.
I thought this was just okay. I'll probably tune in again, but if it doesn't improve I won't stick with it for much longer. I've heard that NBC has been running around like crazy behind the scenes, retooling everything, so I hope it will get better.
Some of the dialogue was really, REALLY bad - especially in the first half - and a lot of the "girl power" stuff was really clunky (like the little girl in the car). And I thought that the little sister was a bad actress - I can't believe that they replaced Mae Whitman (Ann/Egg/Hog from Arrested Development) with her, unless they just cast her because she's prettier with Mae Whitman. And judging from the number of shots we got where the camera was basically pointed down the Bionic Woman's shirt, I'm guessing they are putting a huge emphasis on eye candy here.
And I hope that the lead actress grows into this role. So far, she just isn't steely enough to play this kind of person. She's supposed to be a high school dropout with a genius IQ who has been on her own for quite some time and is raising her little sister - this actress is too soft around the edges for me to believe that she's had a hard life like that. But pilots aren't always indicative of what an entire series is going to be like, and maybe she just didn't have a good hold on the character yet, so I'll give her another chance. But again, if she and the show don't improve within the next few episodes, this will turn into a "I'll watch it if there is nothing else on" show at best.

I was a little disappointed by this; so much was wrong with it. Michelle Ryan sort of reminds me of Evangeline Lilly with her one facial expression and smell the fart acting. She and her love interest have zero chemistry. The character of Jamie is, I agree with what's been said above, pretty inconsistent. The acting, especially from the blonde aide at the science center and Sarah Corvus's ex--okay, really from everyone except Sackhoff and the Head Evil Guy--was terrible, just terrible. And the dialogue, editing, and direction just seem really amateur and clunky. What was UP with the soft porn-y music? Saxophones during a sex scene? Seriously?
The only thing that will bring me back to this show next week is Katee Sackhoff. She was awesome and her character was compelling. I would have liked to see her as the lead, but her villianess is just so awesome that I'm almost glad she's not. And I really, really hope they keep throwing in the aforementioned BSG cameos.

I need to apologize for my effusive review and recommendation a page or so ago. The version which aired on Tuesday is not the version I saw prior to my post and was much, much inferior. The editing, the cast changes, the wholesale gutting of the pilot's score in favour of... some seriously pedestrian music. I can certainly understand the disappointment you guys felt at that series opener. Bleh.
kostgard, you mentioned that NBC was scrambling to retool this show and, well, they certainly did. Tools!

NBC should retool this show some more, like take it off the air.
A younger, less talented Evangeline Lilly to me. Katee (I learned how to spell her name) is a real actress and to me she looks like a woman, a real woman; not "the bionic not a girl not yet a woman."

I knew that I wasn't crazy. I watched ALL of the clips that I could find when it was announced and thought that it was going to kick ass and instead it was bleah. Why did they do that? Who made them change it? What the hell happened? I also kept thinking WHY would this doctor scientist guy care about this stupid bartender girl. Was he just slumming it or what? But man, Katee was kick ass.
