I had NO idea Brad was Patch's voice (Boomhauer is the other one). I'm watching it right now, and I still don't really recognize Brad's voice. Neat.

This show has the best guest stars. Johnny Depp was awesome as the yoga teacher Hank has to go to when he throws his back out.

Oh my God, you people are blowing my mind. Heh, I keep thinking of that "ah-ah-ahhh" thing the yoga teacher does when sucking in his stomach. It totally doesn't even sound like Johnny. I'm going to have to start watching the credits more often.

Oh my gosh, where have I been??? I thought they cancelled this show!! When does it come on?
Anyways I LOVE this show! I remember when Fox treated this show like such crap (amongst other shows) and for what? The Simpsons? I know that this is an unpopular opinion, but I think that this show, at least in the later seasons, is better than the Simpsons in the later seasons. Even with the extremely annoying Peggy and more idiotic Dale. At least KOTH has a consistent plot for the half hour.

I agree, FFlover, King of the Hill is a better show. I think this is usually on at around 7:30 or 7:00 on Sundays.
Even though for a while Peggy went overboard with being annoying, they at least showed that everyone else thought she was insufferable too, you know? Like the episode where they went to the Music Festival, and she was getting on everyone's nerves. I think one of the reasons I like it is because it manages to stay somewhat realistic character wise, and isn't just Simpson's over the top with the wacky traits in a vacuum.

I like how they would just throw Chuck Mangione in there randomly for a while.

I like how they would just throw Chuck Mangione in there randomly for a while. Heh, they still do that. He played Luanne's backyard wedding this past Sunday.

Peggy thinks everything she does is so friggin' superior, and it's good how she sometimes falls on her face. Although, in our house, we sometimes call it "spa-peggy". Which is a really stupid name, and Hank is correct to point out that it's just spaghetti. But I like how her Apple Brown Betty makes repeat guest appearances.
Remember the Thanksgiving ep where they were all trapped in the airport by an ice storm (I think). There was something about Hank insisting on deepfrying the turkey, and did he take the turkey with him? I get taking the deep fryer, but why would he take along a turkey? Surely he could have bought it in Montana when he got there.

Count me in to the KOTH love. My brother is Bobby, so I absolutely love the Bobby-centric episodes. The theater camp, "The Propaniacs," when he was chosen as a possible Dalai Lama reincarnation, dog-dancing, talking like an old Jewish man, and the list goes on. I love that boy. I tell Mr. John-boy's Mole, if we had a kid, that's how he would turn out.
I love Hank's reverence for Propane and Cotton's lack of shins too. It's all just really different and hilarious.

That is exactly why I love this show. Peggy is annoying, deluded, and thinks that she is more important than she actually is. But you have Hank to bring Peggy down from her undeserved high status, without embarrassing her in the process (she embarrasses herself). Like the Kidnap from Mexico episode when it became abundandly clear that she doesn't speak Spanish to save her damn life. Hank solved the problem without taking the responsibility of making her look like the jackass that she is. I'm sorry, as much as I love the show, I cannot stand Peggy and her deluded high opinions of herself. I especially loved the artist episode when the only reason why she got attention for her "art" is because it can be read as "angry uneducated Hillbilly art" But despite her looking like an idiot, she still gets Hank's support, and I love that about that show. Very different from the Simpson's all wackiness all the time, with even Marge and Lisa losing their moral edge through it all.
