Me! Me! I said I wouldn't do it but I did it.
What the hell is WRONG with these people? First of all, I'm so happy that Brynn seems so grown-up and happy. Steven also seems to be a bit more mature and he annoyed me so much the first time that it's good to see that he's toned down a bit. Trashelle was also more low-key.
Now onto Irulan. Girl needs to grow the hell up. I can't believe that someone in their mid-20s cares so deeply about who she shares a room with. This ain't summer camp. You're just sleeping there and it's only for 3 weeks. Who the hell cares? Also, the way she tried to "talk" to Arissa was painful to watch. In a crowded bar? Nice.
That being said, I totally believe Arissa more than Alton. Alton is a liar and he strikes me as a major major player.
Frank is a tool. I can't stand him. Couldn't stand him 5 years ago, still don't like him. I hate that he has actually become less mature over time and it still infuriates me that he likes to put girls into "good" or "trash" camps. Even last night, he invited that girl up to the place, brought her into the confessional. Who knows what they did but then he acts like an ass, kicks her out (it appeared) and then said "She was classy, I met her at church camp." Ass. If you're implying that she's trash the same goes for you because you invited a strange girl up to your room for the cameras! So gross and creepy.

Oooh, I forgot this was on! Must. watch.
Now, when I was a young whippersnapper, the big Real World was Hawaii. With Drunk Ruthie and the gang. That is one they need to reunite.

Ah, that's the one I sent a tape to. Yes, I'm ashamed I did that. Thank God I didn't get cast with that lot of crazies. Ty, Amaya, the two doofy pale guys, Kaya. Such weirdos.

I hated the Vegas cast the first time so I don't know if I will tune in again. Besides, I am still recovering from the Denver cast. Did you guys watch The Shit They Should Have Shown last night? When did going to the bathroom, particularly # 2, in front of people become so acceptable? When I was their age growing up, which wasn't too long ago, you never did that. You didn't even discuss that. Why are people so gross and slutty now a days?

I don't know if people necessarily are but I believe that there has always been a tiny subset of society that does crap like that. In all of my college friends I knew just one girl who would pee in front of people, drink like crazy and was a bit of a deranged ho-bag when the mood struck her.
I think the Real World producers have just managed to find only those weird people to put on their shows. They've always existed, we just didn't talk about them. Now they get their own shows.

Thanks for the input Jensational. I sound like a prude I know, but between crotch flashing celebs, girls gone wild, reality shows, etc., I am concerned about young people. It just seems to me that the young are so open now that the word privacy is becoming extinct. And to think, we thought the 80's were a wild time lol. We were a bunch of grannies compared to kids now and all of my friends were real heavy in the hard rock scene. We did some crazy shit, but these kids kick our asses big time.

Jensational, I didn't know that you knew me!!!! ;D
I can't take this show, and when it was in Austin, all the bartenders hated them with a passion, because the camera guys would just push patrons out of the way, and that's why they had lots of fights. Oh, and every time I saw the Real World in Denver, it was just that one brunette screaming and throwing things. Call me a snob, but that's not entertainment to me, and I found it boring. I'm getting old.

I completely agree Jensational, add alcohol to the mix and they get a whole lot weirder. Real World is just so old and stupid now. The house guests immediately realize why they were chosen and "act" the part. The "slutty" one acts slutty and so on. I wonder where the other cast members are now, I can't imagine anything good coming out of it besides being in that Gauntlet show.

The only series of Real World I actually followed were the first 4, but in the early editions the people in the homes were (relatively) normal, well most of them that is. After London I just couldn't get into it anymore.
