I just finished watching the first three episodes of John from Cincinnati and I really like it. It's dark and took me about has a hold onmy imagination. I like the weirdness of it all. Each of the characters I want to know more about. That so rarely happens. I am a bit nervous though, because I haven't really seen much of a marketing push for this and they are already talking about the bad ratings. But that is not fair. This show won't appeal to the same audience as the Sopranos and having it come on after the Sopranos, in my totally uninformed but gut reaction, was bad planning. Dark realism and Dark magical realism will not draw the same audience.

Anyone else still watching? I thought this week was pretty amazing and possibly some of the weirdest stuff I've seen on TV.

I'm still watching! I LOVED this past Sunday's episode! Though, ask me what it meant and I won't be able to say. I just kind of "got" it on some weird level.
I can't wait to see how this all winds up. I think it's one of those shows that has to be watched in its totality to fully appreciate everything. As it is now, I feel like I'm watching a 10-hour feature-length film in just little increments.

I'm still watching! I missed the last episode but I'll get to it as soon as life slows down. And I agree with LittleEdieBeale, it does seem like one of those shows you won't fully get until it's finished, which is fine for me. I like this kind of build up and pay off.

I'm still watching, I don't know what's going on but I don't care, I like it. I'm right there with you on that. I just watched 6 episodes of this on digital tv. After reading comments here, I thought I should give it a shot. It's good! Weird....can't figure it out either...but it's interesting. Does anyone know how many episodes there will be in total? Also, has Bruce Greenwood (Mitch) left the series?

Someone posted upthread there'll be 10 episodes. Sadness! Only four left!

It's pretty clear who the Christ is after the last two episodes. I'm curious about what it was that the videographer/photographer chick finally saw in the video. Did I miss something? Does anyone know?

Does anyone know? Beats me, too! I think (operative word: think) at the point where Cass saw something it was during a scene where someone was banging a drum? And after all these years post-90210, I still adore Luke Perry. I never watched Deadwood, but am thinking I should give it a whirl.
