So right now "Man vs Fish (Tiger Shark)" is on. They seem to be reeling in Tiger Sharks to tag them and then set them free. Ok, that's fine, but they had a little clip during the show where a guy was fishing for (and catching, therefore, killing) blue sharks. WTF? Since when are killing sharks part of shark week? It was just a little 2 minute clip, talking about how hard it was to reel him in, but WTF. I don't watch Shark Week to watch them be culled. I watch because I love them and they're awesome.

Disgusting. I had to turn it off.

I just hope they have an episode of River Monsters for shark week. I adore Jeremy Wade, he talks pretty.

I'm sorry to admit but I laughed at laughed watching "Day of the Shark III" last night where the shark bit off that woman's ass. Not sure if that aired on the US Discovery Channel but aired on the Canadian one.

Craig Ferguson is quite charming. I like him even more after that. He seems like a decent guy.

THIS! I posted earlier that I wasn't sure how I felt about his involvement in this year's Shark Week, but I absolutely adored him on his "Shark Bites" special. Viva la Ferguson!

The jumping great white sharks are amazing to watch.
I could have done without seeing the dead whale and all of the sharks feeding off of it. It was just too much. Poor whale. I love whales more than sharks, so I had to change the channel.

The sharks eating the dead whale was one of my favorite parts! (Nature recycling itself!) I was almost hoping the shark researcher who got out on what was left of the carcass the second day fell in. No offense against him but it was just about the dumbest thing I've ever seen anybody do. Plus his name is Rocky Strong, ferchrissake.

Yeah, I don't care what sharks eat. I will always be Team Shark! And seeing the Great White's breech is just a thing of beauty. I can't wait for the day I can see that in person. They also have what I think is an adorable habit of popping their head out of water to see what is going on. Kind of like saying hi world lol. GW's really are much more like mammals than fish.
