They really need to stop with the fake documentary crap. Why do it? They have plenty of interesting stuff about actual sharks. And I thought part of the purpose of Shark Week was to shed light on the misunderstood creatures, not make them all out to be Jaws.
They might as well just go ahead and air Sharknado. Or start dedicating weeks to Big Foot or the Loch Ness Monster.

Discovery went with hype over substance as usual. The guy at Ocearch who have been running a gps tagging program for a few years had a show and was dropped by Discovery. www.ocearch.org/ Ocearch and another scientist Michael Domeier had a huge fall out over tagging techniques. It seems Discovery Channel sided with Domeier since they featured him and Pail Walker last year. And, took a swipe at Ocearch during one of the shows.
